REEEEEEEE
FUCK THIS GAY COUNTRY
i think he's on his trip he said he was gonna take
why do you want a house so bad?
>can't afford a house in Canada where the houses are made of wood
get a shitty house and rebuild it
>why do you want a house so bad?
I'm sort of tired of living with my parents. I want my own space.
The problem with cheap houses in Canada are the neighborhoods they're in and the previous tenants.
The smell of curry, cat piss and other ethnic foods never totally goes away.
And I will not live in a neighborhood with an actual designated shitting garbage cans
Didn't I already give you a bunch of reasons why owning a house is a bad choice in canada?
Why do you refuse to address a single one and instead keep whining
why not go look in small towns?
Renting does not contribute to your net worth.
It's burning money for no gain
This just leads me back to square 1 of not having enough money for a home.
>last week
>went to a small village 60km away
>200 - 400 grand for an empty fucking lot with no home on it
Yeah I don't really like the idea of paying for something I don't own. I rent for now but it's temporary while I'm in college. That said, I don't like mortgages either since I disagree with usury. It's hard to win here
wtf, get a trailer those are like 13k for like a decent one
Neither does a shitshack that you have to keep making payments for the next 30 years. It's not a good investment, returns on average just barely match inflation. It costs a chunk to sell. It's not diversified at all neither by sector or region. Requires constant upkeep.
Moving is much harder to do than with renting where you can fuck off as soon as your lease is up. It's really not worth it. Your down payment would do far better in some ETFs.
>/chi/ is better than /cum/
Honestly, that's kind of pathetic.
/cum/ is apparently the source of the Eastertoad, other than that I can't see the appeal in it
>he stops replying
Fuck I got baited by the retard again.
"Houses are a good investme-"
National price data from the Canadian Real Estate Association shows an average annual gain of 5.4 per cent nationally from 2004 through 2013 for resale homes. The comparable average return from stocks was just under 8 per cent. If we go back 20 years, we get an 8.3 per cent gain from Canadian stocks and an increase of 4.5 per cent in the average national house price. Over 30 years, stocks made 8.5 per cent and houses 5.5 per cent.
