If you're looking for good feral animations, the only two decent animators I know are h0rs3 and critterclaws.

Horses are all different. Mares in heat are usually the chillest, they just want to be the center of attention, with Geldings being pretty chill, normal mares are all different, but most are chill, and stallions are usually pretty rough, but if you get lucky and find a nice stallion, he'll be a good bud.
To approach them you need to watch their body language and yours. If a horse's ears are down, they aren't liking something. It's the easiest way to tell, if their ears are down don't mess with them.
