that one episode of The IT Crowd with the tranny

...

...

Massive negative internet feedback.

Why?

Vic & Bob's sketches

youtube.com/watch?v=iFs0SLf0c8o

Drawings to ugly, plot to complex, female lead, she fights the guys, muh strong womyns, are you tripping the matrix?

Why it's he so gay?, where are the minorities, etc...

>the internet is why muh patriarchy toons don't sell well
>not the fact that no one wants to see them
shoo shoo Paul Feig

You're deluding yourself if you think anything has actually changed in the last ten years.

Hell, that couldn't get made 5 years ago, let alone today.

it "couldn't" get made when it was made, that was the entire point of making it.

Family guy

Oh wait they make racist and sexist jokes in every single episode but can get away with it for some reason while others cant

>He threw up when he found out you were a monster

Those were the days...

And to think, when we first met you thought I'd be worried that you came from Iran

there's worse shows out there right now pc-wise

there was a rape scene that was done as a comedy on this show, wasn't there?

Same reason as South Park. They call it "satire" and reason it is a poking fun at the average joe opinion

There was an almost rape scene (Edith is almost raped by a home invader), but it wasn't done comedically.

Marrie with Children

...

Dude Where's My Car

...

its utterly absurd that anyone would want to have sex with edith, much less so much so that she'd be in danger of rape.

This.

Would get shit on endlessly since it was at the tail end of a still silly Bond and not a single young person would get it and just claim it was crude comedy that put women in a bad light or some such shit.

Married with Children. We need Al Bundy more than ever.

the main reason it was successful enough to get sequels was young people laughing at the lol-so-random humor. The people who "got" it (read: had actually seen the silly spy movies it was spoofing) were practically outliers.

But comedies will never be smash successes again because the internet can be several magnitudes more outrageous than any studio product.
