I don't get it. What does the 100 mile border zone have to do with the US constitution?

>chilesrightfulclay.png

You don't have any rights when you're within 100 air miles of the border.

For example border patrol can literally detain you with no cause, create "checkpoints" where they can smash your car windows and arrest you if you don't submit to questioning, force you to unlock any devices you own so they can read your data, etc.

>This is what the Founding Fathers fought and died for
It's not too late. You can still return to British rule.

During wartimes?

Doesn't that only apply to federal agents? Not that that makes it much better, but still.

It's been in effect full time since I wanna say 2004.

Are you for real?

So they can get arrested for pro-Trump tweets? I'm pretty sure the Americans are just fine with a legal hiccup rather than having no freedom of speech at all regardless of location within the country.

No, everyone

Detainment:
> The average number of hours that individuals were detained shows some variation, ranging from 65 hours at its lowest point in July 2015 to 104 hours at its peak in October 2014.

Device searches:
> CBP officials have broad leverage to induce travelers to share password information, especially when someone just wants to catch their flight, get home to family or be allowed to enter the country. “Failure to provide information to assist CBP may result in the detention and/or seizure of the electronic device,” according to a statement provided by CBP.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH

No, I meant that only federal agents have the privilege. Not that it makes much of a difference when the Chicago PD literally has a torture warehouse but at least it's technically illegal.

...

ok, the UK drags itself off the coast of New England and you have a deal. Ferries and bridges across

Nice freedom you have there.

Let's just be clear. Criminals and illegal aliens should be executed immediately when they are caught. The police and ICE show mercy.

More states are deputizing local police to become pseudo border patrol. For example anywhere in Texas, you can be stopped by regular PD and be deemed suspicious of being illegal, so they can detain you indefinitely until a border agent can come and "'determine"" your status.

A lot of other states are passing these "sanctuary city" laws too.

>this meme again

American freedom is quite the meme. Or as it's also known, a malicious lie.

it's true though. the american dream is real. just cause you're a loser who'd never succeed in any country anyway, doesn't mean you can say the american dream is a myth.

Arent you the goblin/mutt spammer, you have too much time on your hands, stop obsessing over Americans like a little girl

Electronic device searches have doubled pretty much every year

>the goblin/mutt spammer
The what?
You can see the counter examples to it throughout this thread. Here's another: the residents of Washington DC elect a delegate who can't legally vote on anything to the house of representatives. They are literally taxed without representation.

This is how you get nuked from space.

Not that poster, but freedom and the American dream aren't the same thing. Noones going to argue that successful people can't be successful in the US, it's just strange to see that a place that is supposedly so pro-"freedom" has a lot of weird legal trickery to inhibit freedoms

listen fellas. we all know that in europe you've got lawless cities with refugees running around willy nilly raping your women and blowing up buildings/driving trucks into your fellow countrymen etc etc. Islam kinda stuff. Here in the US we are armed with guns? Know what a gun is, euroboys? That's freedom.

We have tactically armed broomstick handles. Your caveman era "boom-boom sticks" are antiquated technology on these noble isles.

This must be ironic but you can never really tell with Americans

i thought they did that litterally anywhere

>It's not too late. You can still return to British rule.

Literally the only first-world country worse-off than us at this point. I'd take Canadian rule.
