How the hell do I leave my country (America)? I feel like if I stay here I have no future. No one will pay me enough for me to support myself without going into debt. And why does no one realize they need to stop using their credit cards? We may have fancy cars and houses that APPEAR nice. But it's all a facade. Everything you see here, someone purchased on credit. No one uses cash here anymore. Why? And all those fancy businesses you see in places like Times Square mean nothing about the wealth of the citizens. Regular people don't own shit like that. If you go a few blocks away from the city's center, all you'll see are shit neighbourhoods. It's like that in every city. Including Washington D.C. There's too many financial obligations here, and not enough pay. I cannot go into debt, I'll never be able to pay it off. I'm tired of all the corrupt politicians making laws to protect themselves and expand their income, and honest ones getting branded as corrupt because they didn't play along as cronies. (My heart goes out to you Blagojevich) Which reminds me, the healthcare here is way to damn expensive, and if you don't have medical insurance you're fucked; You'll probably be better off faking your death instead of having to pay half a million for surgery. With insurance it's not much better. My father had surgery for his scoliosis, 21 screws and 2 rails. It's so bad that they couldn't straighten his spine all the way or else he'd be paralyzed (King Richard III had it fucking easy) At least his employer's insurance had to pay for it. That was his parting gift after he left that company who treated him like shit for the whole time he worked there.
He was supposed to be in a desk. They made him do labor. He can't work now because every employer says he's a liability, or he needs a college degree. He tried to become a bank teller but they told him he needed to have an associates degree, to do simple math with a fucking calculator. He was a bank teller 30 years ago. He told them this, they didn't care. It's no fucking different then than it is now. The U.S. government is completely powerless here. In their own damn country. It's completely decentralized, and no progress anywhere is being made. The State governments have more domestic power. Bureaucracy is the slow painful death of everything. To all non-Americans, This is the reason why when Americans talk about laws, they almost always say that it varies by state. The U.S. government can't do anything to protect it's citizens. No one will let those laws pass. They say the voice of the people is the strongest force out there. Well there's a lot if discontent people here but they'd rather all just complain about it instead of actually doing something about it. The only riots that ever happen here are because of some stupid petty bullshit white on black crime. For a country full of selfish bastards, they sure care about whenever a white cop does something to a black person. Regardless of who's actually right.
In around 2014 I once said to my father that this country has ~25 years left. He then told me that about 20 years previously (I think he said in 1995) that he estimated that this country had 50 years left. The final dates are pretty damn close.
Maybe I got carried away. Call me Cynical; I call myself realistic. So finally I ask, how do I leave this place, and do you have any suggestions on a better country?
Justin Moore
my dude, there's one politician running for president who has the cleanest track record of always fighting for the working class protecting workers, protesting with unions, talks about raising wages, taxing the rich, ending student loan debt and having tuition free college, a green new deal and creating 22 million jobs, rent control, employees owning 20% of business stock so they have a voice on the board, ending private prisons, medicare for all. you want to have a decent government who works for you and not the 1% fucking vote this election
Zachary Lopez
Believe it or not I recently turned 18. So finally at least I have a vote. I also wish we had a Popular voting system.
And personally I think we should just have a flat tax rate. Everyone would pay the same percentage. Rich or poor.
Christian Robinson
hell naw, the rich have most of the money and if their taxes increase, their quality of life wouldn't change for the slightest. 10% on a poor working class family hurts so much more than 10% on a billionaire.
Dominic Lee
Which explains why you have the audacity to blame America and it's policies for your own shortcomings and hard times. You know almost nothing about the way the world works, you are probably lazy and unmotivated or inspired by ideology to try and apply your shitty worldview onto the world. Eat shit and get a job like the rest of us instead of complaining about it, faggot.
Not really, but you have to realize that rich people like to hide their income where they don't have to pay tax on it. If all the loopholes are closed, 10% hurts just as much on poor people as it would rich people.
Easton Allen
I left the US in 2013 and live in Ecuador. Had to jump through hoops and pay for permanent residency.
Benefits: Cheap cost of living.... fresh food and rent both cheap.... have fiber optic internet for $40 a month and can make as much as I want online with Appen or other online employers.
GTFO of the US, and you will quickly realize all the stuff you think is wrong with the "world" is really only in the US.
I'm currently saving up to move to Uruguay...why?
Uruguay has the fastest internet in South America, great steaks, and FUCKING LEGAL CANNABIS!
Juan Richardson
You clearly didn't read the whole thing.
Wake the fuck up, and face the music.
What city do you live in anyway?
Anthony Sanders
I never said these were all the world's problems. I know how bad it is here in America, while other countries thrive.
I'm trying to figure out just how to leave.
Jacob Turner
You know you're a Millennial when you say audacity.

Nigga, liberty bitch be from France. She tried to go to Egypt, but they didn't want her. so they dumped her ho ass in New York. She supposed to be golden brown, but she got aids and turned green.

Has an user ever organized a Sup Forums mass suicide?
Nah, but you know what they say; Natural selection.

Nah nigga, it be true. Someone even tried to blow her (up) in the early 1900's, so now they don't let anyone inside her anymore.

Wow user sounds like you really got life figured out.
Dominic Baker
Wont hurt me though since i know you struggle at the moment and you barely make it, financially
Wyatt Green
You assume because you struggle, everyone does and it's just not the case. You wonder why nothing ever changes in America and that because shits working out just fine for the vast majority of people who aren't entitled cunts bitching about not being rich at 25.
James Walker
If you haven't noticed those terms are a bit arbitrary. There are 3'rd world countries that are better off than 1'st world countries.
Brandon Cox
If nothing changes it's called stagnation.
Where are you from anyway?
Kayden Bell
Do what I am doing.
Get educated in an in demand field. Healthcare professions like nursing are a good choice.
Get a few years of work experience while saving money.
Apply for a work visa. I chose Australia. I leave in January for a job in Brisbane.
Jack Nelson
>There are 3'rd world countries that are better off than 1'st world countries. If that’s how you plan to cope while living in your favela
Jeremiah Taylor
You make things change nigger, not just sit on your ass and cry about it like a lazy fuck
Tyler Gray
What makes you think any other country wants your broke ass? Moreover, because of Trump, every country in the world DESPISES Amerifats. Stay home, Sup Forumsro.
Alexander Powell
Trump voter detected. Why are you so stupid by choice?
Parker Lewis
I thought only poor uneducated retards voted for Trump? Clearly I’m not poor or retarded
Landon Murphy
As if you don't do the same.
Xavier Bell
I don’t, actually.
Nathan Gutierrez
Naaa. I'll give you that most places hate America. But individuals are not their country. I love my adopted home, it's culture, and it's history. My time there has always made coming back to the states hard.
Andrew Turner
I'm saying It's difficult to make money here.
And you can just say Trump is an oompa loompa and BAM, suddenly they're fine with you.
Levi Cox
Good luck
Jaxson Allen
But did you vote for him?
Christopher Johnson
>It's difficult to make money here. In America? You aren’t being Jewish enough
Michael Carter
What have you changed then?
John Peterson
You're only 18, you're honestly not really worth dick in the work force yet.
Luke Hernandez
I ride a bicycle to work and live off my garden and food stamps. It doesn't get more Jewish than that.
Henry Flores
Got my class A CDL Got a work promotion Got a decent amount of money saved up Still making relatively good money despite not being college educated
Changed a lot really.
Elijah Ortiz
You aren’t Jewing anyone though. You’re arguably self sufficient minus the government handouts. You gotta be a total shiester and sell things people want to buy but don’t actually need
Nathaniel Russell
That's what they all think. And they think anyone over 30 isn't worth dick either.
Colton Martin
Who’s “they”
Julian Allen
Actually lets start with this; Where do you live?
Cameron Lopez
California.
Brandon Ortiz
Employers. Any employer, from what I've seen.
Bentley Parker
Anyone over 30 that isn’t getting work seriously fucked up somewhere.
Gabriel Hernandez
What city though?
Hunter Gray
I live near LA, that’s all I’ll tell you as far as that goes.
Josiah Anderson
No, if you're not a shit-tier worker and continue to shoot for more then what you have you will eventually move up in the workforce. It isn't that hard.
Nicholas Bennett
Ripping people off is not the way to go. That's where Capitalism goes wrong. I'm not saying that Capitalism is improbable, I'm saying you need to regulate the shit out of it.
Isaiah Nelson
>Ripping people off is not the way to go. Unfortunately that’s how you become successful in America. Though you could always shoot for less than that and go to trade school
Thomas Scott
That's all I need to know.
I live to the west of Chicago in a suburb. Houses are expensive even in the poor, (but not crime ridden) neighbourhoods.
Aaron Collins
I feel for you. Hope things get better
Tyler Thomas
My father wanted to be a lawyer. He decided not to when he found out how much of a dirty industry it is.
Isaac Bailey
Easiest solution, don’t leave. Instead of being a whiny bitch just get out of the cities. Once you do that everything gets so much fucking cheaper.
Kevin Reyes
That's an easy out. At what point does the amount of "shortcomings" amount to a real social problem? Like snowflakes falling in a blizzard some fall on flat ground and stick but most gets blown into drifts.
Gabriel Gutierrez
Well you certainly don’t get rich by being a good guy. Glad for your father for not stepping down that path even if it meant less money
>At what point does the amount of "shortcomings" amount to a real social problem? Took California about 30 years for the social problems to manifest. Now they’re just festering
Jaxson Lewis
But haven't you heard regulation is socialism or maybe even a commie plot? We should be able to pick the pockets of the workers and consumers for an unlimited amount since they have smartphones and thier lives are clearly easier then past generations.
Ian Thomas
>neighbourhoods
contact ICE and you'll be returned to your country of origin
Angel Gray
Doing better on average than most of the deep south.
Ethan Clark
I live in a suburb west of Chicago miles away. (I don't know how many. I rarely go into the city) It's so far you can't even see the skyline. And things are still expensive.
Hudson Myers
Outside of the big cities maybe. My state is so goddamn fucked
Illinois is a really shitty state legislature wise.
Mason Powell
>implying that richfags in California aren't just as much of the problem as everywhere else.
Justin Harris
You should learn to differentiate between the neoliberals and the actual left then. Also why the fuck should California and rural Mississippi even be in the same union? They have wildly different values.
Jonathan Carter
Well my father almost became the head of a factory in South Carolina, but he didn't get it. Our lives went downhill from there.
Daniel Kelly
op is a huge fucking faggot
Henry Morgan
Regulation isn't Socialism. No one in the western world knows what it is either. It's no private business, and proletarian dictatorship, according to the theory.
You can't just simply look up political theories in google and fully understand what it is. Like Fascism, no one knows what it really is either.
Nicholas Ramirez
I was born here, that's just how I spell it.
Nicholas Moore
Bottom line is America is the best country to live in right now. >Be south/central america >Be crime ridden and poor.
>Be north of AMERICA >fucking racist French Canadians eh
>Be west europe >a. Be crime ridden southern countries >b. Be poverty infested Russia >c. Be northern countries that just this week had nationalism see sudden gains.
>Be east Europe and Asia >a. Overpopulated and polluted india >b. Overpopulated and polluted China >c. North Korea >d. East russia, drugs and poverty. >e. Be japan who just had an anti trans/nationalism movement pick up just 8 months ago.
>be Africa >Africa
>be Australia >not really anything horrible here if you don't mind prehistoric bugs and drunk idiots roaming everywhere.
Jason Howard
Oh shit i've been there lol. That's the Ga Renaissance Festival. Also yeah OP is right this place is FUCKED. Been thinking about New Zealand. But also not confident that I will be able to save up enough money to get there before The United Corporations of America implodes and crumbles with all its mindless nationalist fuckhead cronies chanting "USA! USA!" all the way down.
Yeah. It's a running joke here to say "So, how many dead people voted this time?"
Ayden Martinez
You mean the best place for white people like you right? Cause there was a survey people around the world have been given one vote to obliterate one nation for a better future of mankind and guess which nation had received the most votes to be sent into oblivion? Can you guess it? Over 70% of the votes by the way

flat taxes are regressive meaning they put most of the tax burden on poor people, followed by middle class and way off in the distance rich people
Rich people benefit more from our society and should shoulder more of the burden commensurate to their benefits.
Leo Peterson
It's cause of imperialism from back in the day. The union just hasn't broken up yet. We literally stole half of Mexico. And what the hell was the Gadsden Purchase? We literally bought sand!
Robert Lewis
And his name is YANG
Alexander Robinson
If it's the same percentage It shouldn't be regressive. Especially if we close all the loopholes.
Samuel Roberts
For Canada, just don't live in Quebec.
Cooper Richardson
You should *check it out* it's *for your health*.
Josiah Nguyen
let me lay this out for you simply... cause thinking you a bit slow to uptake info.. you buy a one-way ticket to bum-fuck where you want to be other than.. here, you pack your crap up and call shipping company, pay your bills you committed to while here... and you quietly go the fuck away... thats how you leave...you were right you DO NOT matter here, quit your bitching and excuses and wave bye. notice there is no "good" in that.... except that your sorry ass is finally gone.. hope you enjoyed your time while here though... send a post card.. address is OU812, Careless TX...
Andrew Morris
Ah, a typical American. Absolutely 0% knowledge in geography, but 100% will to speak up. East Russia is as far from East Europe as Japan is.

Welp I hope it'll come sooner so I'll be able to see a collapse of this terror den, responsible for most of the post-WW2 bullshit and virtually all 21 century bullshit that's happening. Yay for Texas independence I guess, not like I'd like to ever go there.
>regulation isn't socialism I'm just waiting until all the video games get hit by EA-level monetisation or worse, perhaps this will make them think.
