Whoops

whoops

you do know this is Super Bowl week, not Grey Cup week, austria?

...

OH NO NO NO NO NO

*loses*

>this confuses the negro brain

Yeah why didn't he just down it in the end zone?

What the fuck did I just watch

wut

If the kicking team kicks the ball into (or beyond) the endzone and the ball goes dead before the defending team can kick or run it out then it's 1 point for the kicking team. Zero time on the clock there. They had to get it out of the endzone or lose.

in the CFL if you don't return the ball out of the endzone, or if the ball goes through it, the kicking team gets a point

so since there was no time left and it was tied, they had to keep it out of the endzone, and punts are legal at any point

>Canadians

>fair catch rule
>outside of a peewee league
Americans lol

Classic

>catch a kick in the endzone
>kneel
>the play's over
American athleticism, folks.

Wtf this looks way more exciting.

please watch our sport

how does he manage to only prolapse in his most important games?

cringe

Early 20s white male from Upstate South Carolina.

Which CFL team should I /lifelong/?

greenville or spartanburg?

Greenville

>poo levi mitchell

>Canadians

tiger cats if you're into clemson i suppose.

The talent level is barely college level but the rules allow for a much faster paced game than the NFL

i can appreciate that. what team is manlel playing for?

Dig it. Thanks senpai

>Hamilel Tigerfags

enjoy, my south cackiaacky brethren

How popular is the CFL in Soviet Canuckistan?

>Packerstier fanaticism
In Regina Saskatchewan

>Pats of the north
Calgary although they seem to have issues with choking

>Jest
Montreal without a doubt, if you like to suffer this team is for you

Basically the West division is heads and toes better than the East in the regular season but come Grey Cup time they always seem fuck things up...

>13th man

literally nobody that lives in the civilized part of the country i.e. Toronto area knows it exists

this actually looks like fun to watch. The last 20 seconds of that would be an ad break in the US.

>Toronto
>White people are a minority
It won't be long until Yonge is a designated shitting street Sanjay

Wait. What sports do Canadians even watch?

>NHL Hockey
>AHL hockey
>Junior hockey
>Midjet AAA hockey
>CFL
>NFL
>MLB
>NBA
>Curling
>Power gap
>MLS

In approximately that order

They're crazy about hockey.

>live in halifax
>die of explosion

You know and I know that curling doesn't belong above that power gap.

how come canadians cannot into trustfund stick? (Besides SK)

it's not super-elite like the NFL but it is good, fucking fun to watch. In general, probably more old-school football-like. Ol' American purists would probably like it a lot, once they got used to the few small differences.

BC Lions

Naw, curing is unironically MUCH higher. Higher than the NBA, I'm sure.

I played for Edmonton for a few seasons a while back. It was fun and the pay was decent.

WUT?
Explain pls

I played for the Edmonton Eskimos back in the day. No biggie. I'm American, went to college in America and went to play in the CFL because I didn't get drafted. I ended up playing in the NFL after my time in Canada. I can't give the years because y'all would figure out who I was. But, it was over ten years ago.

wasted digits, Toronto is Michigan's finest city

>women's curling
fuggg i can't hate you Canada, you have such good taste in qt3.14

W0t?

would watch this, looks much more fun than NFL

Tyre$e Jamalson?

This has got to be a joke.....right?

>people watch this nonsense

>the two most notable cfl players were the rock and roman reigns

sticking to football it would be brandon browner and that miami olb

damn, how the fuck does austria know about how bad the alouettes are?

there's an austrian cfl fan
might be because one played football for a university in vancouver

>there are no rules. Everybody just kicks and tosses the balls around to have nice, harmless fun in a good Canadian way until the referee, when he notices the boys are getting tired, signals something to stop the game and one team celebrates. Next time the other celebrates so the games always end draw not to hurt anyone's feelings

Johnny Manball will be in for a surprise

he's mad he only got offered 150k canadian to play (120k usd), he wants 300k

I'm the guy who posted in the /cfl/ "generals" (that guy because I'm pretty sure I was the only austrian). And btw, I didn't know about that austrian player in vancouver

because you're a dim witted layman who doesn't have the mental capacity for football strategy. when you see a lot of people running around like crazy it makes you excited.

mfw about to BTFO poo levi mitchell again

Manziel's not going to the CFL

>Toronto
>civilized
Nobody civilized considers Toronto to be a part of Canada

>this is the second most popular sport in Canada

According to Wikipedia, there are over 1700 American players of Canadian football. I don't think the years would give yourself away that much.

>I ended up playing in the NFL
Did you make any regular season rosters?

DELETE THIS

Montreal won more than the jets though

...

The CFL to NFL move probably narrows it down a lot I'd imagine.
