It's quite simple really: Jews and Europeans have a history of mutual antagonism, and this is reflected today in how many Jews relate to their host societies including those who have reached positions of political power and influence. There is nothing more to it than that really.
In some ways, I think that living overseas in a very alien culture gives you some insight into Jewish attitudes towards their host societies.
Most Europeans/whites have never really lived in a non-European society, and do not understand minority feels at all. Even most of those who do usually live in a sort of expat bubble which keeps them from leaving their comfort zone.
