You won't exist soon

Really? Why is that?

Dubs actually confirms OP.
But I guess it depends on the family. If your parents are liberal muslims they won’t be too down about the whole apostates must be killed thing.

>what country do you live in OP?

My parents aren’t very religious at all, it’s the other family members that are religious.
They all believe that killing is bad no matter what religion someone has... they aren’t like those crazy family killers that you see on the news.

I’m in Europe.

How are you not dead?

...

Like all the other Conservatives

Europe isn’t a country, but okay.
What made you give up Islam? Was it science? Was it just the state of society?

Do you larp as a muslim so your family won't kill you?

I know it isn’t, I just don’t want to specify what country.

I was never really attracted to religion as a whole, I didn’t feel any enthusiasm when told religious stories.
Unlike most of my family members I am smart and educated so I can actually ask questions that bring up topics of discussion rather than blindly following the Quran.
A big influence was my father, he isn’t religious and made sure that I was raised without religion being forced on me.

I’m not sure what that means but when I’m with some family members I don’t bring up topics like eating pork and flaws in many arguments supporting Islam.

When someone abandons Islam then the Koran says you're supposed to kill them.

I am a non muslim in a muslim family too...I can totally relate what you must be feeling at there alone...Soon you will be independent financially, and won't give a fuck what everyone else thinks..

The Quran also says that you should not force Islam on anyone.
There are many verses telling followers to kill and there are many verses telling followers not to kill.
I find that a lot of people both Muslim and non religious take verses without not only reading the whole chapter that the embers was found in but also not taking into account the context of which the verse was written and other factors that are relevant.

He’s asking whether you pretend to be a Muslim when you’re around family.

No, I don’t bring up religion and when asked by some family members if I am a Muslim I either avoid the question or make a joke.

Stay strong op. When you turn 18 you can leave, and you’ll be independent.

verse

don't worry, we already know you live in sweden

Thanks to you both, fortunately my parents are the ones I rely on and they don’t force religion on me nor are they very religious so I’m good as long as I don’t get into discussions with other family members about religion.

I don’t, but I do like Ikea.

>telling followers to kill
anyone who isn't muslim
>telling followers not to kill
other muslims
you can't have ANY scripture telling you to kill and then act all high and might. Not killing isn't only God's law, it's also man's law of morality

No, there are verses saying that nobody should be killed (Muslim or not).
If you actually researched from unbiased sources and read the Quran that has a reliable translation you would understand.
There are conditions to verses but propaganda against Islam doesn’t point it out much like how verses that command violence are used as propaganda against Christianity.

I'm assuming you're an arab of some sorts. Don't you and your family feel like piece of shit cowards for leaving your homeland? I don't understand why people would have children in a war zone and then flee to another country for protection. Immigrant refugees are the biggest piles of retarded chicken shit in my opinion.

I don't really care enough to waste my time

I have a copy of the Qur'an would you like to borrow it op?

You just said the same text has contradicting verses.
And we're supposed to take this seriously because why?

I’m not an Arab.
The country we are from is not a war zone and my family left the country we are from many generations ago with diplomatic passports so guess what kind of jobs a few of them had.

I do love how you assume things though, it entertains me talking to people that don’t have much intelligence.

There are different verses in different chapters.
When taking out of the paragraph/chapter as a whole and out of context they clearly contradict each other.

At the end of the day no religion like Islam or Christianity is truly peaceful.

why are you still alive?

>A big influence was my father, he isn’t religious and made sure that I was raised without religion being forced on me.
What a fucking hero and a based father.

I am the exact opposite of you OP. I found the beauty of the islamic religion by myself and am now surrounded by a middle eastern family full of munafiqun (hypocrites).
