Its A Wonderful Life
Life Is Beautiful

About Time

mainly the parts with the dad at the end

Movies with dad scenes make me cry because my dad cries about them because of his relationship with his dad.

I cried on this scene

Hachiko. But it is fucking cut in a way with sentimal music, it preys on that.

not really a movie but Band of Brothers, the interviews at the end of last episode, fuck man

also makes me feel like a faggot for living a cushy bitch life.

Red(2008), Goddamn, this is brutal. Good thing I was alone when I watched it.

The Elephant Man

>also makes me feel like a faggot for living a cushy bitch life
This. The show is great but makes me feel like shit for not being part of something like that.

Movies that have made me unexpectantly cry are
The Grey

Only time I've ever seen my dad cry was after he watched this movie.

Lion if youre looking for a recent one

This is too sweet to make me sad.

Too pretentious and oscar bait-y. Although its an ok movie.

Agreed. I can't remember which part, but there was some unexpected feels in The Grey. The sheer doom in the movie.

People that think that Saving Private Ryan is better than Red Line amaze me.

OP didnt say we had to cry from sadness

Manchester by the Sea really got me good, especially the scene in the police station.

Fair enough. I just find it harder to tear up from comfiness.

Inside Llewyn Davis is brutal. Nothing is overtly tragic, but its just a constant and sustained level of a hard life filled with mistakes.

The Grey

Nice one.

I've seen this one too many times to be too effected anymore, but its the best movie Ripley made since Bladerunner and Alien as far as I remember.

I don't remember tearing up, but this is probably the most effected I've ever been by a movie. Spending over an hour getting so immersed in the three characters and their daily life, having them overcome the cycle of violence and then having it restart all over again in spite of everything. God fucking damn what a ballsy fantastic ending

This made countless men cry all over the internet

I cried for the death of comedy
