Sup Forums worthy TV and movies

Alright y'all. I just quit watching Big Love shortly after the start of the 5th and final season as it turned into a leftist shit fest, and now I need new things to watch.

I've already seen all the Mad Max films, Zulu, and most famous WWII films from an American perspective.

Bumpity

> "…when one considers the meaning of life, it is a struggle between alternative viewpoints of life itself, and without the ability to defend one's own viewpoint against other, perhaps more aggressive ideologies, then reasonableness and moderation could quite simply disappear. That is why we'll always need an army, and may God strike me down were it to be otherwise."

What did they mean by this ?

Maybe WW2 from different perspective?

Much obliged. I do really need to catch up on my Monty Python. Cleese seems to be a bit of a closeted traditionalist.

Ben Hur

Casablanca

Shameless

Sounds very interesting, I will give this a shot!

Classics certainly. Haven't seen either in years.

The Starship Trooper classroom scene is pretty good too. A true classic.

lawrence of arabia
brazil
patton

>from an American percepective

Must've been a short film then. Unless it was a romance at which point sure.

Lawrence of Arabia is most redpill movie of all time.

Westerns:

>The Searchers
>The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

>the social sciences nearly brought our world to ruin

Damned prophetic.

>Starship Troopers

One of the first pair of tits I ever saw as a kid

Great movie

Too bad the sequels sucked.

First one was pretty good, too bad the rest were horrible pieces of shits that shouldn't even exist.

Isn't it a bit gay?

That's an oddly satisfying way of fighting tbqh

Imagine them all wearing purple and yellow polka dot uniforms... not those "manly" Hugo Boss uniforms... if the Nazis looked like idiots, no one would want to emulate them!!! Good luck, stay safe, get some sleep!

I've watched all of these. It's a good place to start. My top recommendation would be a pair of movies: "Der Ewige Jude" (Nazi film) and "The House of Rothschild" (kike film)

Can't say I'd recommend much in the way of television. Mr. Robot is pretty fun and it's maybe 33% Sup Forums approved.

I've watched all of these

...

Death Wish 1 and 2 are classics.

This is worth a watch if you like racist lolis

Glengarry Glen Ross

"they ain't white no more...they're commanche"

"NO ETHAN"

based John wayne

The most red pilled shows display the merits of order and sacrifice for ones country. Or just find a show with red coats in it.

Here's my rec summer viewing list

Sharpe series
Haratio hornblower
Turn : Washington's spies
Black sail
Master and commander
War and peace

Shogun.

why is come and see liked so much? I watched it yesterday and it was just boring. Jarhead was better at being sad lol

It means power rules.

Why are there no films about the Judean empire and its wars?

I think the appeal is in having at least one of the great Soviet propaganda films in your rolodex

Trust me it's a lot more entertaining than "Cuba"

worthy recent TV shows IMHO

mr robot
justified
persons of interest - hang in there it goes beyond procedural in later seasons
Banshee
Penny Dreadful
Ray Donovan
The Flash
LaSt ship
house of cards
into the badlands
daredevil
preacher
the expanse
The magicians
The leftovers
The strain
Walking Dead/

Isn't he a bit British?

>Victoria
>Most powerfull woman in history
Bitch please

I am on season 7 of the X Files. Never watched it until now. Good show, longest running Sci-Fi series (Dr. Who?). Watching on Netflix.

>ruling half the world with the biggest navy ever seen at that time
>compared to a former prostitute who married the emperor of a dying empire she fucked

>not watching HUMANS

A few more :

* Rome, the TV series was pretty dope.

* The Duellists, a 1977 Ridley Scott movie

* Capitaine Conan, a unusually good French movie set at the end of ww1.

* Goodfellas, the perfect movie.

Anyone here ever watch Fargo? The Knick?

There are plenty of war movies about America mate.

Wasn't there an old tv show or movie about the siege of Masada ? I think I've seen it but I can't remember if it's any good.

Don't waste your time, Barry Lyndon is absolute arse.

Any chance we would get new high budget Starship Troopers movie in the future?
I would cum buckets if some continuation/alternative storyline to ST1 came out.

>Fargo

The movie and tv-show are pretty good. The tv-show is an anthology too, so you don't need to see every season, but both are top tier, with acting and story I think.

this movie was pretty good its battle of iwo jima from the axis side POV and directed by clint eastwood also on netflix

no time bro.

Starship Troopers is utter shit. The movie is nothing like the book.

...

>the expanse

It's unintentionally Sup Forums but I really like the novels anyways

That guy is the reason why durkas know how to into guerilla
Manlet british scum, we agreed on Syria and Lebanon you cunt

...

Penny Dreadful is SJW Feminist Central
Avoid at all costs

House of card (Stop when Frank became Prez)
Preacher is good shit
Mr. Robot is meh with one/two outstanding episodes

...

Literally could be any of us

The movie was written and visualized first, then the rights to the book were bought for name recognition. Once you get over that, it's better.

are the sharpe and Hornblower series good? I've read all of the books. Hornblower in particular gives me a national pride erection every time

Sharp good, youll shoot your wad red white and blue, but he loves him some slave freedom and white knighting. In the Waterloo episode he shoots Dutch Billy, worth it for that alone.

Also, Breaker Morant, rule .303 yeah.

Lyndon - Kubrick

Surprised no one mentioned it yet, but Drive is the most Sup Forums modern film I've seen.

Haven't seen it. Should I go for the book or the film first?

>the man who shot liberty valance

if you're in NY/PA, I will drive down today and buy you a beer. That movie is GOAT, as is anything with john wayne and/or jimmy stewart
