Cinebro deleted her twitter.

G'day, Bruce.

i just now realized Brent Spiner is in Independence Day.

Could someone explain The Rules of the Game for me? Why the fuck is it rated so highly? I mean it isn't bad by any means but it's nowhere near a masterpiece.

Cinema was born when The Rules of the Game was released. This feels like the third act of Mistress America on coke. How was this made in 1939?!?

i'm a real cinephile. there are only 5 good movies. everything else is tied for worst movie ever. also bad movies are fantastic. goodbye.

Is he the one who did that terrible breakup short where they go up separate escalators at the mall with all the S Y M B O L I S M ?

>This feels like the third act of Mistress America on coke
This movie was a mess but I still loved it

why is his """films""" so overrated? None of them are more than a 1.5 at most. And why does he rate his own films 5 out of 5? That is pathetic.

Why do so many people disrespect animation?

letterboxd.com/Arokz/

it's for children

That shows your limitations.

>What will you watch this week?
finishing up Chaplin's Mutual shorts, then some Visconti (La Terra Trema, Senso, Le notte bianchi, The Leopard), and then either a Pasolini or Fellini binge

>not watching the GOAT Italian director

Hmm...

I'd like a tracker full of content and availability like ptp but that it wasn't full of the same braindead normie plebs like any other place on the internet. But that's not to be

Myrmician ant fascination :-3

Oh man!

Why would anyone stay inside watching movies when it's such a beautiful day outside?

Tonight my wife is going out on a date with her friend.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend any good movies for her son and I to watch tonight while I babysit him?

If Emily Jean were a movie, Edgar Cochran would give her a 100/100
If Emily Jean were a director, she'd be Federico Fellini
If Emily Jean were a country of film, she'd be Italy
If Emily Jean were a style of filmmaking, she'd be French New Wave
If Emily Jean were anymore perfect, she'd be Emily Jean

Is The Social Network too deep for embryos?

nah it's fine, it's a really slick cool movie for the film buffs of /r/movies who use the term embryo.

By this answer, we can conclude that yes, it is too deep for embryos.

>tsn 2 stars

wew you need to go back

>there are people itt RIGHT NOW who gave Attack of the Clones a bad rating

This is just embarassing, they're actually trying to pretend that David Fincher and Aaron Sorkin are some sort of deep filmmakers. And that The Social Network is some sort of masterpiece, it's laughable.

Faggot emoji

If Amaranth were a movie, Edgar Cochran would give her a 100/100
If Amaranth were a director, she'd be Federico Fellini
If Amaranth were a country of film, she'd be Italy

If Amaranth were anymore perfect, she'd be Amaranth

Both Fincher and Sorkin are talented artists that together made one excellent film with the Social Network. Embryos as usual fail to get it, for whatever reason.
Embarrassing, indeed.

Embarrassing
