Wayols player ratings-at least we're better than last year edition Anscombe: poor half at full back but looked better at 10 when the game opened up. The first try was entirely his fault though so he takes a hefty knock for that. 5.5/10 Adams: mediocre stats but didn't really get a chance to do much ball in hand. 5/10 Williams: solid in defence but not much else, butchered a try. 4/10 Parkes: strong showing having been given shit ball all game, tackled well. 5/10 Evans: didn't get much chance but did beat the first man pretty reliably, weak defensive showing though. 4.5/10 Patchell: got rattled by England's kicking and was unable to exert any influence on the game. Smothering defence had him seeing ghosts by half time and deservedly hooked. 4/10 G Davies: fuck me he was shit. Slow and wayward delivery, bad box kicking, not good around the park either. R Evans: strong display, had the better of Cole in the tight and showed some class round the park. 7/10 Owens: very good game apart from a dodgy throw, got a pilfer or two for his trouble. 7/10 Lee: his best game for a long time, double digit tackles and carried strongly. 7/10 Hill: another with his best game for Wales, 18 tackles and threw some lovely passes. Definitely not outshone by Launch 8/10 AWJ: another AWJ performance, big tackles, high workrate and some really good hands. 7.5/10 Shingler: our best player by some way, carried really well and defended like a lion. Only mistake was kicking the ball after his linebreak, it looked like he could have Maori sidestepped Faz or broke on the outside. 9/10 Navidi: couple of pilfers, highest tackle count on the pitch, lovely hands and bags of effort. 8/10 Moriarty: couple of defensive errors and struggled ball in hand. He can't do the fancy stuff but doesn't carry well enough to make up for it. 5.5/10

I feel p confident desu. A fair few players had a bad day today but a couple of weeks of training and Williams, Faletau, Biggar and Amos coming back will shore the squad up no end.

The battle of defences. The first quarter was pretty good though.

>BSKs return from summer getaway in /cric/ >/rug/ instantly rejuvenates made me think.
Jeremiah Jackson
The stats for Wales defensively were mad, espcially considering they still ran for over 500 metres. They made nearly 200 tackles with a completion rate well over 90% and won far more turnovers. England missed a lot of tackles and conceded a fair few turnovers. Ultimately the difference lay in a very poor Welsh kicking game and Anscombe's defensive fuck up for May's first try.
Jacob Jackson
Huebro admitted to being a communist earlier.

Julian Savea is unbelievably bad at rugby. He quite literally cannot catch or pass a rugby ball.

He isn't even a starter for the Canes in games that matter. Pic is the knock out semi last season.

I didn't say I'm from cric you daft cunt. I fucking INVENTED /rug/. Many kiwis generally spend a month or so in cric before superugby starts, as you can see by the 2-week+ rug threads made by hue for the last 2 months. Don't project your newcunt bullshit onto me. Dude, learn some English. Just because we have changed the way we refer to a city, it doesn't mean that the trophy changes its name. We don't talk about Thailandese cats, they're Siamese and that trophy is the Calcutta Cup.

England were shite yesterday. Deserved to lose against a second string Welsh side, at home.
Can't see them winning the Six Nations again
Luke Taylor
England fell asleep at the end of the match from how comfortable it was and of course Wales got their backs up for the final 15 minutes of their biggest match of the year and couldn't even score a try.
Grayson Sanders
>excuses
That was literally England's best team, and Wales should have beaten them. I'm feeling pretty positive about Welsh rugby this morning
Also Wales did score a try but the TMO didn't give it because reasons.
James Collins
>because reasons
yes because of knock on
Samuel Howard
Wrong. The TMO said "Watson touched it down first"
It was a pathetic decision. Even Woodward, Wilkinson and the worlds most biased boring man Dillydallio said it was a try. If it had gone against England there'd have been a media inquisition this morning.
Wyatt Lee
Are you one of those people who think the score would've been 12-13 if the try had been given and don't realise Wales took 3 points from the pen advantage after that said 'try'? There are a lot of them around.
