I can't give you a very accurate answer to that. I've known something was off for a long time. Sometimes I still can't really believe it.

I've had slight hallucinations since I was a young kid. I always told myself I'd go to the doctor when I started having trouble telling the difference between real life and the hallucinations. That line was crossed a while ago but I haven't gone. Should I go get medded and be complacent or should I become the god I know I am?

Do others know you are schizophrenic? For me nobody does unless I tell them (if they ask why I see the doctors or take meds at specific times very to schedule, as well as carry them with me at all times) do they treat you different? I feel like people treat me like I’m retarded, a child, or something when they find out.

Do you hear "them"?
I hear "them", but have been able to resist their ideas since I was a young kid. I did some stuff they said to do and got in trouble, so I stopped taking their advice.
Sometimes they yell at me but I still don't listen. In Highschool, drinking a lot helped ignore them. Later I learned I just don't have t listen. Funny enough, if I drink a bit now, I am tempted to do what they want..alcohol lowers my willpower now, so I rarely drink anymore

Do whatever you think is best. Sanity is subjective. If you want to be medicated, do that. Just know that medication will never cure you if something is actually wrong with you. It's just a fake mask to wear.
