Honestly these movies feel mythical. A lot more so than your average fox-men or doctor strange. BvS can be watched multiple times and still retain that grand vibe. Only other cape movie I can think that can be rewatched multiple times is Cap: Tws.

OP here. Just adding I love what they've done so far. And I love the updated or slightly reimagined take on these characters. Joker, lex, supes. Aqauman, bats, flash...all of them. It's a new age of heroes. Not the same old stuff we've gotten from cartoons, games, comics, etc. Why not welcome the new changes? The characters still capture that gravitas most capeflicks dont. I like the almost biblical feel the stories DC is attempting to tell. "The age of heroes" as Diana puts it

They changed the characters to the point where the only resemblance they have to their originals are their costumes. Diana isn't a fucking walking skeleton.
