Been to a bunch of specialists and have no diagnosis other than probably dormant genetic defect being expressed. No family history, no big accident, worked in an office doing little.
One day i felt shooting pain up and down one leg and went to the doctor. A week later and it went from 4/10 pain to 10/10. Had all sorts of therapies and drugs and surgeries, it is still bad and they said it will certainly get worse as I age.
Thus I just want to get my comfy small place and enjoy small things like reading, football, watching the weather/birds, and a good Sup Forums.

I've had that debate with myself. I feel the two comfiest options are either downtown apartment in busy city or 50 acres in buttfuck nowhere with nearest neighbor 5 miles away. They both have pretty great options. I suppose the city place with soundproof walls and delivery food would be great, but way more expensive than a country place alone.

I was walking through the botanical gardens in my city recently, and I thought about how this pocket of greenery had survived a hundred years. It was as if it had it's own will to live, all of it's own, and all the gardeners and accountants and city planners and volunteers were just an extension of its. I felt like it would continue like this even if the world around it collapsed, and survivors would still find peace in pristine gardens. Personally I like the urban option because I hate driving and I don't need the room rural areas tend to provide so it is an utter waste. Plus the internet in rural America is garbage where your options are dialup or satellite which can barely run youtube at the lowest setting.

Most of the snow that fell has melted, and now it's just cold, but not to where it gets dead silent like back home. I lived in a ghetto in Saint Paul for a year too, and even there was dead quiet at night during winter.
I miss home. It's too dry, the creeks are pathetic, there's few parks and the forests are thin. But maybe that's just where I live.

Small world I was originally from St. Cloud which that entire fucking town is ghetto.You have the trailer park trash and the roody poos so you get the worst of both worlds. The parks in Minnesota are amazing it feels like no matter where you are in the city you are always within 2 miles of a very nice park.
