Because they're too cute to eat!!
because they're gross, idiot.
Because that would be taking food from small predators. Which is bad for the ecosystem.
Because while im eating bugs to minimize my carbon footprint, the elite will still keep eating meat no matter what.
If the rich assholes who are also contributing to the pollution and climate change in the first place arent going to sacrifice anything for the sake of the planet why should I?
How would eating bugs have any effect on climate change?
Because steak taste way better
Make me.
You can have my portion while I enjoy my deepfried Spotted Owl.
Because relying on cows for meat apparently uses alot of resources amd you need to cut diwn many trees to make croos that provise for these animals.
Also cows.produce an abhorrent amount of CO2 by farting.
Jesus i completely butchered that post
It's okay user we're understanding retards here
Like a juicy and delicious cow...
i'd rather eat people. it's really only a matter of time, and i'm patient.
Underrated answer
>relying on cows for meat apparently uses alot of resources
Feeding seven billion people uses a lot of resources, regardless of what they are fed.
True but all those cows need to be fed as well, which in turn stacks on an already resource pit of a population.
Because its hipster food and thus overpriced
It it was half the price of meat per nutrients i would try it, but its more expensive and its fucking bugs so i rather eat delicious meat
Cows use an insane amount of resources. You'd think not, since most people just think of a bunch of dumbass cows in a fucking field eating grass like faggots, but you'd be wrong. I'm not insane enough to tell people to eat goddamn bugs, but I do push people to cut down the red meat. Eat chicken, fish, etc instead and save beef for holidays and shit.
I find fish risky due too contaminated water and would point my hungry finger towards deer
Deer is good too, but good luck getting the average person to hunt one down at Walmart.
Why would I ever give a shit about climate change. Even if we stopped all pollution right now it would take hundreds of years for the atmosphere to heal. By the time the damage gets really bad I'll be dead so I'll continue to enjoy my nigiri with fish and not fucking bugs.
>but I do push people to cut down the red meat
this changes absolutely nothing
like the retards who think going paperless "saves trees," no, nothing changes, except that you are no longer one of the consumers
production will stay the same and even rise regardless of what anyone does
Congratulations, you and your non beef eating friends are making beef cheaper for the rest of us.
We're not retarded
>you and your non beef eating friends are making beef cheaper
Nonsense.
The cheapest beef (aside from "trimmings") is "Ground Beef 73%"
with a wholesale price of $1.63/lb, up from $1.42/lb one year ago.

Nope. In the E.U prices have already gone up and they are considering taxation on beef in my country.
It takes long, but the aim is to mitigate climate change. Technologies such as artificial trees, direct air capture, can help speed up the process. This is not only about me, this is also about you. You should care because many people will lose their place to live due to extreme weather events, rising sea levels and a different climate, which causes massive migrant streams, famine, and public unrest.
That's how it should be! Link the food prices to the emissions they cause and allocate them to certain VAT brackets according to this. And of course not only food, but any other aspect of life.
Because fuck the planet and fuck you.
Pave the earth.
Oh and another thing, it's not about the people changing their ways it's about the god damn corporations shoving their toxic bullshit down everyone's throat.
And corporations do more harm that just one person
This mindset has never caused unrest in any European country.

Fake science
