It used to be a consistently funny website dishing out cool critique through satire, but holy fuck, has anyone visited it anytime soon? The entire thing is filled with either almost kid-friendly LOL SO RANDUM fluff pieces, or a bunch of John-Oliver-tier DUDE REPUBLICANS LMAO thinly veiled American leftist propaganda.
You probably figure out by following what media conglomerate exactly owns it. But the their humor as really taken on an overtly leftist political edge that they somehow, miraculously, managed to avoid during the Bush administration

you will only find out in the next life, and there's only one way to get there

Some bigger company bought a year(?) ago. Cant bother to check what it was, but it was known already back then that it was gonna be used as leftist propaganda.
This is my favorite one from back in the day. A lot of the morning show satire ones were great too.
Chase Sanchez
Hillary Clinton's campaign bought it

That's probably because The Onion is having a difficult time competing with real life these days. The world is going fucking nuts and it is going to be near impossible to write a satire piece that people don't mistake for real life.

>first is classic >second is shit bad taste desu

>The Onion did hundreds of pieces making fun of Bush and his entire administration >"Guys when did the Onion become so librull?" Are you 14 years old?
Same thing has happened with a lot of satire sites. The Onion isn't the only one. They used to do a lot of hilarious things which were largely apolitical but absurd. Their entire format has changed. Cracked has become the same way.
Not really a matter of being 14 years old. It's just cultural marxism at work, colorado.

Congress repealed an anti-propaganda bill in 2013. Since then it's been full steam ahead.
Charles Sanchez

Jason James
The actual paper was god tier way back in the day.
He supports Hillary's campaign and run positive pieces on her.

I remember a couple years ago someone on Sup Forums mentioned The Onion was about to get bought out by some kike company, can't remember the specifics, anyway, the OP was claiming The Onion was about to get even more liberal, as always Sup Forums is never wrong.
