It used to be a consistently funny website dishing out cool critique through satire, but holy fuck, has anyone visited it anytime soon?
The entire thing is filled with either almost kid-friendly LOL SO RANDUM fluff pieces, or a bunch of John-Oliver-tier DUDE REPUBLICANS LMAO thinly veiled American leftist propaganda.

That's probably because The Onion is having a difficult time competing with real life these days. The world is going fucking nuts and it is going to be near impossible to write a satire piece that people don't mistake for real life.

Same thing has happened with a lot of satire sites. The Onion isn't the only one. They used to do a lot of hilarious things which were largely apolitical but absurd. Their entire format has changed. Cracked has become the same way.
