Did you buy a cleaning kit? .380 tends to jam with flat nose target rounds, make sure they're round tip ball ammo. Also stick with brass for the first few hundred rounds, the gun will break in then you can buy cheaper aluminum ammo.

I actually own a PM9 and find it too big for my pockets. I wear Wranglers so I don't think the problem is small pockets. I then bought a Kahr P380 which fits great in any pocket but had reliability problems. Bought an LCP and that ended my pocket gun search. Still carry the PM9 IWB because I like it.
