pic related and Apocalypto

good movie, hated the fucking accent.

damn i gotta see this

...

They tried to make it as realistic as possible, including the accent part.

Mel Gibson is completely insane

I know, but realism doesn't always work the best in movies.

>load lemme git jus won moah

pfffftthaHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAAH

Possibly my favorite romcom. Helen Hunt is also sexy as fuck.

...

better question, what movies has gibson made that ARENT kino?

...

what is it with american war movies and just going fully retard with the battle scenes

Fury was the same

>THAT scene with his daughter in the final act

cried like a bitch

Is Longshanks the Top 5 villain ever?

That's a good point

This is now a general /gibson/ thread

he had a worse one in reality

The part at the end where he's speaking was hard to make out but that was probably because he was old as fuck and used tobacco chew while smoking.

We gotta remember that he's from the south and it was a different time, especially for country boys.

Goes without saying

Hacksaw Ridge

Please don't pollute our board with your reddit, edgy contrarian

I have a huge feeling the ratings would be higher if Mel Gibson never had that huge thing in life where people hated him for.

There's a reason a (albeit) small gap exists between user score and (((critic))) score.

Top kek

Nah even Bruce Jenner liked it

The guy seems like a crazy nutjob but whoever says he doesn't have talent is one dumb motherfucker.

Oh sorry

Is this more to your liking, reddit?

The Passion of the Christ?

why is his neck so long? has andrew garfield never done shrugs in his life?

Kaitlyn Jenner looks like THAT?

He's descended from a long line of giraffes

Whom'st is this?

He went on a giant rant on the phone when his wife divorced him about jews.

>"Very good. Bring up the archers."
>"But sire....our men are still out there."
>slow turn with incredulous face as if he asked Longshanks the stupidest question possible
>"Yes. But we'll hit theirs as well. Fire."

GOAT villain. GOAT actor.

For a movie that centres around a medic who refuses to carry a gun or kill, this movie sure loves to focus on the killing and reducing the saving part to a 5 minute montage.

I agree.

Seriously?

I know someone's dad who did the same thing as to a cong but while retreating

>It ain't me starts playing

Bump with doggo.

LET MEH GET ONE MO LAWD JUSS ONE MOE

Braveheart

Neither matters pleb it was average

Raimi went a bit overboard here

>Braveheart
>Gladiator
>Comic Sans

Based

Pretty good taste for a 13 year old. Heard she likes the fountain which gets shit on but I liked that shit.

time to fap to her leaked pics again

Hacksaw Ridge is a primary example of how to do overdramatic gratification of war.

It fails to deliver on all aspects a war movie should; the terror of going into war, the terror of being in war, the terror to have been in war.
On top of that, the movie has some ridiculously unrealistic and hamfisted action scenes.
The ending is horrible, concluding nothing other than "a man this great actually exists". There is no character development and no emotional impact.
The soundtrack is horribly stale and forgetful.

Fuck this movie.

>(hee hee!)

Eugh

You could say the same about Tom Cruise.

t. pleb

>fails to deliver on terror

Did you miss the entire second half or something?

Could it be any more obvious that a 40 year old man wrote this?
>I like all pop music on the radio (doesn't name any artists)
>I also like classics (Names every dad rock artist)
>all the movies she likes are at least 10 years old
> (hee hee !)
