Can anyone clarify her sexuality for me?

>look at the live thread
>it's cancer
>as expected of people who type posts instead of watching
Kill yourselves, please, all of you.

Loved the episode.

GOAT episode.
GOAT companion.
GOAT season confirmed.

Simmsexual.

I kind of liked it. I really don't know what to make of if it, but at least it had Movellans.

Moffatt exit when?

Noice ep.
Got this fresh mood about it.

It was great. Kind of confused on the water thing but I loved everything else. Such a buzzkill coming into that other thread and everyone's complaining about it.

Tardisexual.

Did NOBODY like it? I just had the most fun that I've had in ages and in the last thread people were shitting on it. Is it a joke? I L-O-V-E-D it.

Trying to find a flaw, struggling greatly. Jump scare felt a little cheap, but I'm probably just mad because I jumped.

This. /who/ contrarians will fight this.

Literally nothing happened, at least we're getting the emoji shite out of the way quick. And Nardole is a waste of space

She might be homosexual

This is his last season

*Leans back*

she only spoke to that girl about twice

what a pile of shit that was

The fuck?

Is Simm in the vault then? Or something/someone else?

Well that was fine.

>It's like a kitchen!
Oh you dosey bitch

Only filthy liveposters hated it.
Now all the decent posters are re-entering /who/ you're seeing a lot more "whoa didn't people like it? I thought it was good!" posts.

Elegant but sort of empty episode. Nice intro to the companion, a bit lacking as an actual story.

Also SIMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Hydrophilia

Come on now, that was solid fun.

>5 good-natured jokes, 2 of which were funny.
>300 "jokes" that people have been preparing for months to use as insults but that don't even have a joke in them
Live threads.

>the whole episode was literally them talking, running when the water monster shows up, stop to talk at new location, run when monster shows up, repeat for the whole fucking episode
>and in literally every single instance bill puts her face right next to a water source, in an episode where she KNOWS a monster that takes the form of water is chasing her
>quality quips like "it's like a kitchen" or "you run like a penguin"
What the fuck. The absolute fucking state of British television. Only upside was the villain. 10/10 would lick her ass.

Episode was pretty okay, I got what Moff was going for but it could have been done way better.

I'm just hyped for Bearded Simm now

Reminder that the monster in this episode was a lesbian puddle

Regeneration confirmed for the end of the series and going into the Christmas episode.

He looks so good. I hope he kicks ass, the best thing about the episode.

guys I think Bill might be a lesbian...

Haven't we seen those uniforms before?

I thought it was all right. Fun to see 12 again, and that scene between Bill and Heather was sad, along with that scene where Bill knows a mindwipe's gonna happen and tries to fight it, but I wasn't really wowed or anything.

6/10 not terrible.

But is true. They ran around and did nothing for the episode. Pretty much In the Forest of the Night but a little better.

Pretty good ep for introducing all the themes in an interesting way- Moffat is pretty good at keeping the introduction of the TARDIS fresh.

Also I fucking called that this would be her girlfriend and no one believed me- i laughed so hard when it was true

Episode 8. Bill shot him.

It was really enjoyable episode. I liked it alot.

youtube.com/watch?v=K_FrQnQv0Vw
This is the Capaldi that should've become the doctor.

Awful episode, called it right saying Bill was the worst sidekick.

>"It's ok, I stopped the regeneration! Here, just lemme pour my regenerative energy into this penis"
What, I seriously hope you don't think only RTD can pull this kind of bullshit

It's water on mars + midnight + the lodger basically.

>her relationship to another girl is part of the plot
>LOL THEY KEEP REMINDIN US SHES LESBIAN???
retard

I really liked it.

That "bullet that killed Capaldi" was real!

Everyone who didn't like it pls go.

>like a penguin with its arse on fire
I can't remember the last time Doctor Who made me laugh out loud

>They ran around and did nothing for the episode.
Yet you give it a 6/10. Fucking manchildren in this thread, wont dare think of this show critically because "mum, it's my favorite show!".

I hope the rest of the series is better than that shit

Matt Lucas was the best part about the episode tbqh. Had the best lines.

XD lol!

I feel it's a bit boring, but I expected I would hate it more. I don't even hate Bill.

>people are already delusional about the episode

Come on, Doctor Who has survived shittier openers. This was just meh, but it's not the end of the platinum age.

But Midnight was complete shite

I'd say it's on par with The Bells of Saint John as a series opener.

It's no Eleventh Hour, that's for sure.

More like the LARDIS

Except this was miles better than Waters of Mars and Midnight

This was showing that Moffat can write better RTD stories than RTD himself

>that whole scene where 12 was about to mind wipe Bill
Pearl Mackie is actually really damn good isn't she?

Yeah what the fuck? If anything they didn't make it explicit enough because it felt so underbaked. I loved the episode but I didn't get what that was all about - Bill has crush on Heather, Heather gets absorbed by water and then wants to take her across the universe?

>baiting this hard

John Simm was literally on for a second and was already better than Matt Lucas.

It does feel like a pilot of the next JJ Abrams show. Let's see how it goes from here to the next.

It was all right, dude. I had issues with it, but it was an okay episode. Quit sperging because some people didn't hate it like you did.

>A penguin with its ass on fire
>Ooh, banter, I like that — now it's your go!
>Does it seem like this is taking longer than usual?

So many GOAT and witty lines in this one. Maybe I just felt elated but I was laughing out loud a lot.

Give your favorite line. Plenty to choose from.

Epin!

It really wasn't.

It wasnt bad, but it wasnt good. a 6/10 was a perfectly fine grade for the episode.

kill yourself

They're using him pretty sparingly so far. Could have been better with more Nardole so he doesn't have to be 100% quips.

But then I understand Moffat's point about giving Bill a few episodes to see her story before introducing Nardole's story as well. (That wouldn't be necessary if they'd just introduce new companions mid-season occasionally, but I guess that will never happen again…)

fucking GOAT episode.

i didn't expect that much but it turned out to be great

reminded me of the San Junipero episode of Black Mirror.

I already know opinions of autistic live-posters, but what does */who/* think of this episode?
IMO, the editing could've been soooo much better in several places.

>Bill has crush on Heather, Heather gets absorbed by water and then wants to take her across the universe?
Heather fancied Bill as well and wanted to run off with her. When she got absorbed, this turned into the directive for the spaceship. Except obviously "run off" became "run off into space"

It should have been called

Hide
"The Chase" but that title's taken, rofl

Nice A-Z of the basics for jumpers-on. Bill definitely grew on me and it was nice to see a slice of her home life. Some of the jump scares gave me a chill. Heather was basically if the Waters of Mars and the Midnight monster made sweet love.

Great callback to The Doctor's ordeal with Clara (as well as her theme) and Bill calling the mind wipe for what it was.

Anyone get the feeling The Doctor that picks up Bill at the end is from further along his timestream?

It certainly felt different, can't put my finger on it. The western style score was pretty cool.

Alright I'll go back to not having fun watching Doctor Who then
Fucking hell, moody cunts in this thread

Can anyone make out his costume?

>parroting people: the episode
I'm not the one who needs to an hero, here.

Banter line was great. I'm glad Nardole is staying around.

Based Paul loved it

when is this?post-war Gallifrey(after Day of the Doctor),but pre-Missy?

Genuinely considering filtering the word "GOAT" purely because of how excessively /who/ uses it.

I liked it alot.
Pearl is brilliant, so is Matt Lucas.
Water girl plot isnt very complicated, but that's not the point, it was very comfy and fun and great.

I'm straight edge dont mess with me

RATE THE PILOT

strawpoll.me/12753949

I've been trying to push SHEEP where applicable.

It was a fun light story with a nice bit of continuity porn. Some over-emphasize on the lesbian stuff but there were also some good jokes and character moments in there. Pretty good

Based Gareth loved it too

The music was nice.

Forgot what he said, but after Bill finally said it.

What if someone wants to talk about goats

Why do people say Bill is Susan?

Mega out yet?

>hasn't listed the correct answer
bit cheeky desu

Imma need that tune that was playing when Doc looked in the puddle.

I snorted. Great timing, and a funny line

anyone have the trailer with simm?

No he's right, they found a good balance. Capaldi cant be jokey in a way that feels natural, so they have a character that's a conduit for silly.

>in this thread
moffat turned the whole fanbase into jaded, moody cunts. Which is good for jaded moody cunts like me

>that creepy as fuck use of strings when she was about to open the shower
Murray Gold definitely stepped it up a bit

I was just about to say this, music was one of the best parts of the episode

Is Paul still based though? That Four Doctors comic was lame, and his other comic with 3 and Salamander was average. And all of his other work in the last few years like the Shadow Police books hasn't impressed me at all.

>Seek! Locate! Destroy!
A bit of an inside joke making fun of Nick Briggs for forgetting that his supposed favourite Dalek line ever, from Destiny, is actually "Seek! Locate! Exterminate!", and "Seek-Locate-Destroy" is an episode of Blake's 7.

fuck men theyre pigs

Same. Now that we've got the introductions away I'm excited to see what else S10 has in store.
