They seem to be down on power and they get worse fuel mileage, so it's going to be a tall order to compete with the manufacturer supported engines. Based on the ARCA version, the biggest strength is that they're bulletproof. If the only thing they do is keep the field filled and smaller teams coming to the track, NASCAR will take that as a win.
