They will never understand Palpatine because politics aren't allowed in Disney Star Wars. Only propaganda.

As a non-fan of any star wars I find both types equally pathetic and easily pleased.

>It's a John Williams' brilliantly disguises the lack of emotional screenwriting with musical innuendos episode
>It's every Star Wars episode

>When Qui-Gon and Maul enter that final room and Obi-Wan is stuck on the other side of the force field

Turns out Lucas was actually capable of creating good tension, even when you already know what's going to happen.

Meh. Prequel Lucas-level-politics was just Lucas trying to say "George W Bush is bad". Wasn't exactly anything deep.

The only tension is in McGregor's acting, his reactions before and after Qui Gon's death. I'm 100% convinced Lucas had nothing to do with anybody's performance in the movie beyond the CGI performances.

I disagree. I saw a lot of tension in watching Qui-Gon try to defend himself against Maul, likely knowing he wouldn't last long by himself due to their brief fight on Tatooine where he is exhausted after fighting him one on one for 15 seconds.

Now that we know the whole Force Tree rumors are true I'm really curious to see how the public is going to react.

The idea of saying that the light side of the force is feminine and the dark side is masculine seems very risky. You're basically saying that one gender is inherently evil.

I'm sure feminists will eat this up and praise it to high heaven, but I can't imagine that even the most cucked, feminist numale will be happy with this idea.

I honestly believe it will end Star Wars.

You forgot the picture faggot

Stop posting this bait in every thread.

What picture?

the order 66 was a nice move. Jedis getting rekt by average soldiers felt nice.

>Reality is bait now.

Um, ok. I guess the news triggers you.

What do nu Star Wars fans prefer instead of that?
What do they not understand?

What politics were in Lucas films?

Too bad lucas wrote a little thing called "force speed" that literally happened in the first 5 minutes of the film but never again even when he needed it

Powers were exhausted.

trade negotiations

Reminder that these films were all made for 12 year olds. You are watching kid's films. Watch some proper films instead.

Spoken by George himself just 3 days ago. Based.

>movies about politics and intergalactical traderoutes are for children

George is a weird man

It's not exactly complicated though.

>something good in Star Wars
>"PRETTY SURE LUCAS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT"
I want RLM cocksuckers to kill themselves.

>made for 12 year olds
>pg-13

Looking at all those retards who think Anakin fell to the darkside because muh Padme only shows that most people are too dumb even for the prequels

I thought TFA ripped that scene off.
