Personality is a meme. People are unable to dissociate your actions from your overall appearance: good looks halo all your other attributes, meanwhile bad looks poison the whole damn well that is yourself. Many women will defend the personality of observably abusive/manipulative/sociopathic partners until the very end because people can't dissociate their physical impressions of someone from everything else.

The graph essentially proves that personality is a meme and female perception of your personality is dependent on how attractive you are. You can be the nicest guy in the world but if youre ugly women will give you a bad personality rating
This is likely a defense mechanism to deflect accusations that women are shallow. When women reject ugly men they have recourse to the excuse that they have bad personalities. This is also where the nice guy meme comes from. Its essentially female propaganda
