Why do people think its cool to personify things like death?

we are apes, we need that

complex ideas are beyond our comprehension

death isn't complex

rude!

Everyone steals from the Greeks. Just look at Japan and their kimonos.

I'm not up to speed on Capeshit since the last Avengers movie.

What does this have to do with Marvel?

death is an extremly complicated process and concept. It is not as simple as the ending of life, if that was so then we are dead before we are conceived.
Buddhists and hindu philosophies are the only ones to explain the process and concept in depth (to my knowledge)

in case you haven't noticed people personify everything.

i bet there's even porn of office supplies.

...

You're actually fucking autistic. Just because a process is "simple" does not mean it is synonymous with nonoccurrence or a perfunctory nature. Death is simply the point at which all living processes cease to function. You can be "dead" and still "recover" simply by virtue of the fact that your organs, cells, veins and the chemicals pumped into your body via natural or manmade means preserve and redouble biological efforts to preserve your industrialesque system. It's honestly no different than a car's four piston engine firing out and giving away. You can still repair said engine, reconstruct said engine, or create new engines based on preexisting blueprints.

The rub therein lies in that there are a lot more moving parts, the mechanics who repair them are a lot better at preserving engines than reconstructing damaged ones, and, just like any good engineer will tell you, it's oftentimes better just to let your engine wither away while you go purchase a new one than try and hold onto one fated to burn out from wear and tear.

TLDR; Death REALLY IS as simple as the ending of life. Your knowledge is fucking shit, trite, and limited beyond scope if you think Hindis and Buddhists are the only ones to explore death "in depth". Samsara has no backing in science, and while fascinating, the same applies to atmans in Hindu mythos.

T. Smarter, less pretencious Autist

ou know that death is the most beautiful part of life, right? Death is beautiful because we all fear death. And fear is the most amazing emotion of all because it creates complete awareness. It brings you to now, and it makes you truly present. And when you're truly present, that's nirvana. That's pure love. So death is pure love.
