"No, I love you, Azula. I do"

Was it kino?

Did Azula die a virgin?

>we've got shitty comics instead of 4th season of the Avatar
Fuck this timeline.

>dood im gonna act like a huge cunt because I believe my mom doesn't love me XD

>It's a the daughter is stronger and more ambitious than her brother but is unable to fufill her desires and loses it episode

She was fucked in the head from birth, this was just a dindu nuffin excuse

Probably.

The show ended on such an amazing 4 episodes I wouldn't want any more desu

It was.

Ozai definitely dicked her a few times.

My first girlfriend turned into the moon

Nobody cares anymore m8. Move on.

GOAT cartoon

Visuals, music, lore, story, characters, all was great.

Imagine if this was made by someone other than Nickelodeon and with a bigger budget...

Also Korra was shite

I feel bad for her, going insane at such a young age.

Man, her duel with Zuko was so good.

His control against her lunacy.

Why was Avatar so full of footservice

Tbh I think the fact it aired on Nick added just enough childish restraint to prevent the show from going overboard

I'm so glad I dropped Korra.

What went wrong though.

Nickelodeon is Dan Schneider's domain

Those communist guys from season one didn't win

Remember when the stinger at the end of the Schliemannania movie was Azula? lol

>implying going full blown with the "Fire Nation is an analogy of WW2 Japan" wouldn't be awesome
>implying

I remember she started crying like a bitch after Katara chained her to the floor.

What was her problem?

What happened to her mother?

Kora was literally designed to be a viral tumblr meme show.
The show had so much forced romance, unlikable characters, and a roastie lead no one cared about. The fighting was also way worse.
Last Airbender was a pioneer, they were just making kino, kind of like Samurai Jack, then Nick just wanted to make more money

That Azula v Zuko fight at the end was pure Kino.

Season 3 was kino tho

Avatar franchise is completely fucked because of Korra and the shyamalan movie

There is no chance in redeeming it, which is sad.

Feels bad man

It could be, but at that point it's such a drastically different show it loses 90 percent of it's charm

That was pretty fucking lame.

There area shitloads of foot fetishists in television.

It's fucking bizarre.

Dan, "Hold her tighter, she's a fighter" Schneider?

Nah, not really. Feet are literally the most common fetish (Google it).

that's rough buddy

It's about the only fetish you can redilly slip past the censors.

there's an entire comic on it or you can read the summaries here avatar.wikia.com/wiki/The_Search

honestly I just wish they animated all these sequel comics, some of them were pretty neat

>>we've got shitty comics instead of 4th season of the Avatar
The comic basically made Ursula into a huge cunt.

>Suki and Toph
>Sokka had no kids and dies
what went wrong?

Sokka and Toph were the best desu

>Sokka had no kids and dies

Is Korra really that bad? I saw some webms and the animation was cool

Wait what?

Last Airbender they were purely in it to make Kino. The sheer amount of research and effort put into a childrens show was fucking unheard of, and as a result it appealed to a massive audience.

Korra was designed to gain a tumblr fanbase ala Steven Universe. It didn't really have a story worth telling.

They made a great villain that put up some good points and made the conflict morally grey. Instead of having the show deal with the morality of the conflict at hand, they just pulled an "lol he had evil ulterior motives all along, lets just sweep his good points under the rug."

It was done by the same Korean animation team but the show itself is significantly worse.

>I saw some webms and the animation was cool
youtube.com/watch?v=luSB7CstoYo

Korra sucks and the whole cast sucks and everyone you love is either dead or a slut or both.

Avatar Won special is GOAT though

It's not as good as Avatar, but you'll find some enjoyment out of it. Book 3 is actually really good, on the same tier as Avatar.

Inb4 people reply to your post saying it's fucking awful

Not all of it was Studio Mir
What's crazy is Mike and Bryan were given license to create a show before they even had an idea

>actually believing the toph shitty made up story

she fucked sokka

They were the best couple desu

One good reason to watch Korra:
the rule 34 is fantastic

This is bullshit. You fags get so triggered by the hint of gay stuff that you think it's tumblr

They already had a fan base. They didn't have to try for anything because the Last Airbender was already a massive success.

Everything they did was because that's what they wanted to do

You're the one that brought up the gay shit mate.

Azula is hot. I'd be her horse.

bump

Zaheer and Kuvira were awesome villains, also all the characters have huge sex appeal. That's about it though, I wouldn't really recommend

Korra is so incompetent
>bending training since birth
>four element bending
>avatar state
>can't defeat a three month old Airbender

...

That scene rules

>the natural sounds get turned down way low in the mix
>the soundtrack gets pumped up
absolute fucking kino

You knew her for like a week and the day she died you told her you were just friends.

Get over it.

Season 1 is ok. Not amazing or anything.

Season 2 has an interesting thing in it, but on the whole, it's absolutely awful. They make everyone else retarded so the antagonist can work.

Season 3 has possibly the best antagonist in the franchise and I would say the only one to surpass Avatar in overall quality.

Season 4 is pretty good, but suffers a bit from the retardation problem from season 2.

Zaheer was legitimately too good for this show. He was a really fucking good character with a really fucking good crew and they deserve better than Korra.

>This can't be happening! I'm in charge here!

People blow air up Korra S3's ass but IMO its as trash as the rest

If you're looking for what quality out of Korra you can get, its in the first six episodes of S1, and then the quality stops almost immediately. Best Korra episode being S1 E6 by a fair margin. The fight scene on top of the arena is kino

Does anyone have images or webms of the Avatar fan remaster?

...

Shame about how badly it ended

Remember when they made that really tall chick's head fucking explode with her own power?

>can't defeat a three month old Airbender

Not really m8, he'd been studying airbenders for years. All he was missing was the bending power.

The only good thing about Korra is the porn just try and prove me wrong.

I have an idea about the fire nation royal family.
If I can extrapolate the Fire Nation's history by comparing it with Japan, it stands to reason that there was once a time where the nation was composed of warring states and nobility. If we observe the fire nation royal family, we can see a large degree of natural firebending aptitude and strength; from Sozin to Azula. What if it was this hereditary firebending prowess that led to the royal bloodline becoming the top dogs? If feuds and grudges were settled by agni kai's back then, it stands to reason that the strongest would eventually establish authority over the nation as a whole.

I like this theory mainly because it lends more symbolic value to Firelord Ozai having his bending taken away.

>korra as tall as asami

the fire nation was originally a bunch of warlords until one emperor united them all. It's mentioned in the comics about zuko's mother.
>warlords steal kids from a village
>mothers cry themselves to death and become vengeful spirits
>after fire nation is united they stop appearing
they even talked to Aang

oh, cool.

Can I just skip to season 3?

I watched season 1 and was pissed what the mask guy turned out to be and thought it was an ass pull of an ending

>losing to an armchair airbender

why was everyone in Korra opposed to huge bending anyway?

Zuko vs Azula takes place during a 100x powerboost for firebenders that only happens once every 100 years.

true

korra was an abysmal mess

Korra was so disappointing that I dropped it for Wakfu

That's not really indicative of Korra's quality, Wakfu is an excellent show.

Yeah it is

I vaguely remember some explanation about how people stopped trying to kill each other and pro bending led to a style where you tried to hit your opponent really fast for points instead of putting power behind it. Or something.

>Can I just skip to season 3?
Probably. They act like they're going to give korra a character arc that will culminate in resolving struggles she had throughout the show but then they don't.

...

the porn is

I hate the look of this. One of TLAs main appeals was the excellent setting. Why is there all this technology and shit?

the fire nation rofl stomped everyone in TLA because of technology

I was so hyped for korra to get over her funk and prove her place in the world by using avatar mode to fight the epitome of the technological revolution that had been replacing her. But instead they take it down with the power of teamwork!

They roflstomped because they had sheer numbers. Their tech got them practically nowhere except for conquering the Earth capital.

Actually now that I think about it, did the drill even help them in the long run? Or did they find a different way in after Ang stopped them?

This scene becomes extra good when you realise it relates to Azulas jealousy of her mothers love for Zuko over her

youtube.com/watch?v=4gGjPR6zJ_M

Fuck what a top show

>Amon not being Koh
>The entire series not being about humanity's connection to the spirit realm
>Dark Avatar
>Retconning the Avatar's origins
>Fuck, the entire second season
>The general weirdness of everything Suyin was involved in (particularly with her always being right for some reason)

A lot of the shit people complain about is stupid though. Korra's relationship with Asami was telegraphed in the 3rd season, at the latest, and provided a convenient alternative ending to the shipping bullshit ("Just do the one least likely in a kid's show"). Korra losing so many battles was fine, too; since her arc was a foil to Aang's (a "born", gung-ho Avatar learning how to be a human being with her own life vs a kid who doesn't want to be Avatar taking on the mantle of responsibility), it makes sense that she has to rely so heavily on outside help.

Everyone is right about the firepunching being dumb, though. A gunfight can be every bit as exciting as a swordfight, but many of the advances in bending technique just amounted to boring fights.

Wakfu has amazing animation.

t. sokka

Nah Earth kingdom is bigger but the world design is really shit
