Hey guys, would you estimate for me how much weight I would lose if I abstained from food for 44 days with nothing more then water and a multivitamin daily? My friend wants me to play a character in his short film and in the script the character is described as emaciated and gaunt; I wish to achieve his vision for the character for he has always been been there for me.
you would lose at most 0.014453 mg of weight, i'm a scientist and biologist of 25 years. trust me, you're not losing any weight any time soon.
Lincoln Ramirez
Have any other ideas then? I forgot to mention that it’s lb not kg which I presume you think it is.
Jason Sullivan
You need to eat something to keep your metabolism active. Read about Christian Bale and Joaquin Phoenix's weight loss programs for movie roles. Both lost tons of weight. Suggest you at least eat apples, oranges, broccoli and some kind of protein. Doing that while staying under 600 calories a day and you might be able to drop 30 pounds without dying.
Carter Perry
You should eat between 1200~1500 kcal instead and extend the time you will be losing weight
Juan Ross
If you are a biologist as you claim, you are entirely reprehensible for what you said is ridiculous. To say that starving oneself would not result in significant weight loss, is a falsehood. Perhaps I’m wrong, and if so I apologize. Would you explain please why I wouldn’t lose significant weight?
Asher Ortiz
Not many brain cells either, you're short a than and up a then.
Connor Harris
Can you post before and after pics? I'll be interested to see how much you transform.
Hudson Ramirez
Jesus fuck, not the biologist guy here, you fucking started off blunt and forward as fuck, then back down to a pussy, and state your ground at the end.
Ryan Cox
Yes I would love to do that, I believe the self-proclaimed biologist is trying to deter me from fasting; for he is ignorant.
Liam Richardson
You'll lose more weight if you less calories than your body uses a day. Look up calorie calculator to find out how much your body uses and count your calories. If you starve yourself your body will go into starvation mode and you'll just damage yourself.
Nathan Bennett
Didn't Bale do a can o tuna and an apple a day to achieve the look for the mechanic?
Soooo eating disorders are a bitch, be warned calorie restriction can cause euphoria and become addictive. You can have fainting spells and tradycardia, set a period for this and stick to it. Tell others so you dont continue.
Julian Thomas
Believe me I would never develop a eating disorder

Jeremiah Baker
How can you be so sure???
Elijah Carter
I’m doing this with help of my friends and family, I would never allow myself to starve myself to death for the sake of euphoria
Gabriel Miller
Bale turned himself into a walking skeleton for a movie called The Machinist. Probably the most dramatic physical transformation an actor has ever done for a role. It should be noted that Bale and Phoenix (who lost 50 pounds for The Joker role) were monitored by a doctor during their dramatic weight losses.
Isaiah Torres
Yes I heard about that film, I was going to do the same diet bale did, but I have only 56 days before filming.
Evan Edwards
I still haven’t been provided with a estimate
Cameron Moore
Not OP but does anyone have one of these that actually works for tall people? I am 6'10" and pretty heavy, although I don't look it due to my height and mixture of muscle and fat, and every calculator I find says something retarded like "eat 2700 calories a day for extreme weight loss, eat 4000 calories a day to maintain weight" which means by this math I should be a literal skeleton.
Xavier Kelly
It's not to death that causes the euphoria, if your not under dr. Watch then employ family and friends to make sure you eat after this.
I feel victim to this years ago doing sports that required weight classes. Never in a million years would I have thought myself falling into it. I became like an addict. I would lie and say I already ate. I'm warning because I know!
Adam Myers
I know full well that I will lose significant weight, but how much to be exact?
Austin Rogers
Don't listen to the fucktard soccer mums on their blogs that try to tell you eating under 500 calories a day will make you "gain weight". It's simply untrue. It's only true because those fat bitches can't help themselves and lie about it.
I ate < 500 calories a day for 2 weeks and lost 7.25kg. I did minimal exersize and just drank a lot of water. I started at 80kg and finished at 7.25kg.
The rate at which is falls off is proportionate to your body weight, so the longer you do this, the less you lose.
If you did this for 5 weeks, I estimate you'd likely lose 11 - 12.5kg
Zachary Scott
I’m glad to hear that you recovered; Anorexia is a horrible disease and I wouldn’t wish it upon my worse enemy. I will be fine, I’ll take the proper precautions and will make sure my family makes me eat if that is needed.
Christopher Kelly
Also, to back up other anons, yes this can become mentally addicting. Watch out for that.
Grayson Long
Haha, I know brother. “When you starve yourself, your body goes into starvation mode, thus preventing weight loss” what rubbish.
Robert Evans
It's insane how many sports players, actors, and business people get sucked into it and feel ashamed because it's a "teen girl" disease.
Parker Brown
A few years back I was dating a professional athlete who was obviously really fit which made me feel insecure. I basically starved myself for 3 months and lost 50lbs. Then she cheated on me.
Jayden Rogers
She used you to fuel her ego, and once you became attractive, she lost her psychological power over you, and ultimately, herself. But I’m sure you know this already brother, their is plenty of fish in the sea!
