What's wrong with you?
killing all the natives
We never committed any (due to always being in defence, not on offensive)
And this is a warcrimes?
Fucking american education can't even read its language
Not spreading the fire of world revolution is a crime.
Yes you dumb pastanigger. We're directly responsible for what the leafs have become. It's not a legal crime, but a moral one.
We never committed any (due to always being in defence, not on offensive)
None, as the Republic of Croatia is unrelated to the Nazi puppet state that was the "Independent State of Croatia".
Paraguayan genocide
releasing the jews
I love you (no homo)
Not nuking Iraq.
Not dropping the Modestly-Sized Sir.
didn't you invade them several times
What colonies? Quebec?
>None
Ustase???
Never committed any
Not my country directly but during a civil war one side enslaved some Rapa Nuis (a lot) to work or fight in Peru, can't remember if that side won.
Too busy fighting over slaves
Idk
Maybe using biological warfare against the natives to genocide like 90% of them
it redirected to this en.wikipedia.org
too irrelevant for war crimes
Isn't it the other way around?
Demand reparations
>war crimes
Stupidest notion ever invented.
Idk Imperial Japan really pushed the boundary on that subject
We did a lot of bad things to the Germans, also the Boers, and the Americans, and tortured a Somali kid to death once but that might not have been our fault.
What about your nuclear bomb then.
Also, almost all of them died.
...
we are innocent
So are we.
Destroying a french bakery.
Gentle compared to what Japanese did.
America is probably the only superpower in history to have never committed a war crime or genocide.
I honestly can't remember the last bad thing we did. We've always been on the side of good.
I once wrote a 16 page paper elucidating why it was ethical.
Just... trust me. If you really want backup info research it yourself.
Tips: >Traditional land invasion = longer
>we showed the bomb to them
>they showed a level of barbarity not seen in the west since the 1600s
But you were a part of the allies in WW2
They killed a bunch of Chinks. Overly exaggerated by Chinese propaganda, which produced false documents and numbers.
The nuclear bomb is nothing comparable. I don't care, I'm not whining, just saying if you consider the notion of "war crimes", it might be the worst of them all. But then again I think it is stupid, especially during wars of annihilation.
Not "ethical". Militarily beneficial, it could be debatable, and I was a long defender of the American side on that, but not "ethical", lol.
none
chile’s a good, pacific boy
Haha, America hasn't done a genocide but we've sure as hell committed war crimes.
both were war crimes. dropping the nuke on two cities and indiscriminately killing civilians was wrong and the US should have at least demonstrated the power of one bomb in a remote area.
however in comparison to what the Japanese did during the same war, the bomb is relatively minor.
You know absolutely nothing of ethics then my sweet summer child
We did. They knew about the bomb. We dropped hundreds of thousands of fliers on Hiroshima and Nagasaki telling them to leave. We gave them a time limit and everything. Look it up for fucks sake.
>however in comparison to what the Japanese did during the same war, the bomb is relatively minor.
No, stupid comparison.
Well yes of course, an American will teach me about any topic. Kek.
Yes yes, the japanese we're literal devils. Have you people ever thought that the winning side might want to make the losing side look worse than it is?
A land invasion would have lead to more deaths, which IMO makes not dropping the nukes unethical.
HOWEVER, there's good reason to think the actual reason the Japs surrendered was the imminent Soviet invasion of Hokkaido. Their cities were all destroyed by fire bombing already, so a campaign of a dozen or two nukes would have made suprisingly little difference to their war effort. The Soviets steamrolled Manchukuo in a couple of weeks, and they were going to invade probably in August 1945 already.
Maybe that's more reason that a nuke was justified. It almost certainly prevented either a North/South Japan, or a completely Communist Japan.
The only datas from the so-called massacres are from Chinese red-cross or Communist Party, which are not known for their accuracy.
Tell that to the Korean and Chinese historians
...
Not waging any war against ant country and always deciding to get fucked up by neighboring countries. No war crimes could be more hideous than this.
failing to annex canada in 1812
fliers are bullshit mate. you were in a war, would you believe propaganda leaflets dropped by your enemy?
nope, its a legit comparison
no, because i'm not a weeb. the Japanese were barbaric in ww2.
THIS too
Goddamnit thank you. How do people not know this?
Destroying the natives, although literally every country has done it.
Yeah, this is arguable. I also think a bombing was preferable to a land invasion.
Although the USSR wasn't ready to invade Japan. They had peace negotiations in early 1945, and only attacked after the first nuke.
Even the population wasn't in favor of the war anymore, according to official American sources. They were aware of that. But as for Nazi Germany, they wanted a total capitulation.
You sure you’re not talking about us?
killing all the natives and making sure they knew it
bundhesrepublik deutschland and third reich are two different things
The only crime in war is losing so I guess we are guilty on that front.
fbis fault not ours
Spoiling international culture for thousands of years to come.

Getting Japan would have been enormous for the Soviets. There's no way that the USSR would not have gone for it if they had the chance. Just think of how important Japan is to America's influence in East Asia. It would have been similarly huge for them.
t. weeb
Brits should be hung for creating ny nation.
Well they already had to make sure Chinese nationalists were under control, as well as Korea, and ultimately other parts of Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia…)
Japan would have been a bonus, but at the time they had other plans, more concrete. The preparation of Asian civil wars.
Just stop posting
SJW claim we enslaved 5 million afrcans to the americas, but that's not considered a war crime. It was bad in the same way.
Maybe some war crimes were commited in the colonial wars in the 60's
reparations
Nice argument.
LOL, we know that's not true. Fucking liar.
The growth probably would have slowed down a bit if it weren't for the wars
Spain is also guilty of this
Something about Poland, but I don't' remember.
Yes it is u fucker. be a good loser
Killing wounded soldiers is a fucking war crime.
Rude
Not from a legal standpoint. West Germany positioned itself as the legitimate successor to the German state, which made it responsible for the crimes committed by the Nazis.
depends on whether you count vietnam, since it was technically a series of smaller warcrimes
if you don't then either hiroshima or operation meetinghouse

we share this guilt with Uruguay aswell, but you know who was behind this: the eternal Anglo
