Was this the most disappointing death in anime history?

Was this the most disappointing death in anime history?

Smaug was the only reason I watched this piece of shit, that scene sucked.

Didn't even bother watching the third one. My gut instincts were right that turning Bilbo into a LOTR-like trilogy was a mistake. It's a kids movie. It's nothing like the LOTR books. It's supposed to be fun and comfortable, not dreary and epic like LOTR/Silmarillion.

>"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU NOW"
>"HOLD ONTO YOUR BUTTS, HUMAN FUCKING SHITS, CAUSE DEATH IS COMING"
>"NOTHING CAN STOP ME, NOTHING"
>"OH BOY YOU ARE GONNA BE SO BURNT IN A MINUTE"
>"I COULD USE MY FIRE......BUT I WON'T"
>"LET ME JUST BRANDISH MY ONE AND ONLY WEAK SPOT FOR YOU, THERE WE GO"

Bravo Hackson.

>>Bravo Tolkien

fixed.

I don't think the Hobbit books even have a death scene for Smaug?

>Hobbit books

Fuck right off.

It worked better in the book because it didn't try to sell itself as this very serious and massive story of huge proportions.

sorry

>Smaug
>Disappointing

Well duh? He's the smallest of Morgoth's big four anyway.

holy shit at least post the real version

that's a big dragon

There wasn't even any good shots of Smaug's feet.

For everyone.

Is there a creature with better voice acting than Smaug?

litraly everyone in the regular show

>books
and they did have that. Bard shot him, but with a bow, not a giant ballista.

Both wrong.

To me it was Nariko in the Heavenly Sword film, i just loved her character, her voice and her looks.

One of the main issues was that it was so fun and comfortable. People missed the epic scale and realistic feeling of LotR. The Hobbit felt way too silly to a lot of people.

The first movie was pretty good imo. It really felt like I was reading the book as a kid again. The 3rd is quite a mess so youre not missing much

The Hobbit (book) was kinda weirdly paced; the entire first 2/3rds were just hyping up this treasure and dragon and then the dragon just fuckin dies, and the actual ending is a big fight between a bunch of factions we don't care about as much.

why do these things always make me laugh

They're just perfect. I have made many in my time.

>her voice
Watch Fringe, the lead Anna Torv voiced Nariko.

Ancalagon, you are SMALL TIME.
