Watch A Serbian Film. You'll have nightmares.

Not really horror but Mandy is a good choice

I've seen that, very good.

The Lighthouse is a bit surreal and pretty good. the original Oldboy is a bit weird, you don't know anything about the guy at the start of the movie. the most recent Cloverfield movie is pretty good, it's not a convential horror movie

I don't have any weird/out there suggestions. I only have a few non-traditional horror movie recommendations

I'd say maybe The Ritual, Hereditary, and Suspiria (both versions, though I think I prefer the remake) are all very good and strange films to choose from

the banana splits movie is new, a little odd, and gory my kind of film

Blackwood is pretty good, it has a subtle use of the unreliable narrator trope. Hole in the Ground is also very good, it also uses the unreliable narrator. the unreliable narrator can make for a good horror movie- what you see isn't what's really happening, and you at some point in the movie you realize that you have been seeing things through the eyes of a character who is out of touch with reality

been 10 years since I've watched it and I still regret it.

It's pretty good horror.

Ok, but desperately try-hard and edgy.

I imagined a desperate jew director on coke, sweating and yelling at the crew, thinking that his film will get him an award. Or am I thinking of another 20 movies?

Under the Skin, can't stress this enough. Naked Scarlet Johannson.
