To say life at the KCOM Stadium has been dismal this season is understating it massively.
The Allams' ownership continues to be completely wretched, with Ehab Allam threatening to hold tonight's game behind closed doors with protests coming his way as a result, players present and past calling out their inept practices, and the ire has only accelerated following the disastrous appointment of Nigel Adkins, their 4th manager in just over a year. The former physio has links to the Blades as well, managing to get the club finishing behind the footballing powerhouses of Gillingham and Rochdale in 2015/16's League 1 and being told to fuck off as a result. With Chris Wilder in charge, they have been in far safer hands.
The way both sides have been recently, it could be the recently-relegated City in League 1 and newly-promoted United in the PL come August.
