Most of these sound awful.

Now you know why most of these pilots never see the light of day.

I remember Bravo bought the airing rights to the very best Pilots and ran a "Great but never picked up" marathon, most of the "good" shows sucked.

>>An outspoken, idealistic rapper (Brandon Michael Hall) runs for office as a publicity stunt and actually gets elected. He must now prove himself as he takes up arms to improve the politics of City Hall.
MAN. I thought this was going to be starring Daveed.

>An outspoken attention whore gets elected to office
LOL that would never happen!

There was an user here once. Who claim that their career was pretty much in pilots and vods that never see the light of day.

No wonder network TV is kill.

>INSATIABLE
>>A disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer turned beauty pageant coach (Christopher Gorham) takes on a vengeful, bullied teenager (Debby Ryan) as his client, unaware that she's a budding sociopath who ropes him into a deadly game.

This doesn't sound like a show-friendly premise. How are they going to stretch it out?

They wont Christopher Gorham is one of those actors who is cursed or something. He's never had a tv show last more than a season.

>SPLITTING UP TOGETHER
>A couple (Oliver Hudson and Jenna Fischer) ends up reconnecting after their divorce and must keep the relationship a secret from their friends and family, who are still reeling from the bitter separation proceedings.
Why not just say we are back together? I mean why should they care what their families thinks these are two adults they can do whatever they want. Besides if this show airs the families will find out eventually.

Seems like it was a very nasty divorce and everyone will get pissed that they just got back together right away after all the hassle.

Not a very sustainable premise in the long run but there's some humor to be drawn from it in a pilot at least.

>ORVILLE
years in the future, the Orville, a not-so-top-of-the-line exploratory ship in Earth’s interstellar Fleet, faces cosmic challenges from without and within as the motley crew of space explorers try not so successfully to boldly go where no one has gone before.

JUST GIVE ME MORE SEASONS OF OTHER SPACE

It's worse than you think. I audition for some of these and it is almost ripping off Other Space.

at least some of that is interesting

Jesus christ when CBS gonna grow some balls and do something beside cop drama

all that shit is rehashed shows
why NBC still cater to white suburban moms ?
don't they realize that Hannibal made that crowed run into the other direction ?

>Fox
i will never forgive that that channel for what it has done to my fav shows

Black lighting might be interested IF its in Flarrow universe

also dynasty looks like its gonna replace the originals when that get cancelled this season

>INSATIABLE
we want the femme fatale crowd

All these writers need to double down on their retardedness before any of these shows can border on being watchable.

jesus these look horrible

>we want the femme fatale crowd

Who doesn't?

>network tv

>YOUNG SHELDON
>The life of eccentric genius Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) at the age of 9, living with his family in East Texas and attending high school.

Remember when NBC used to do GOAT comedies?

>THIN ICE
>>A young woman (Bridgit Mendler) decides to pursue her drema job which lands her at the end of the earth — in Antarctica — surrounded by a group of brilliant misfits.
If this gets picked up I'm pretty certain I'll end up shilling the shit out of this here. Bridgit Mendler is patrician qt

I always wondered since the networks have their own streaming services now, why they didn't just pop the pilots up on them to at least make some advertising money from it

Hey, Popular lasted all of two seasons

Lost is the only network drama I've ever watched.

Sitcoms are ok.

Wow I can write network dramas too!

>Jane a single realtor is tasked by the NYPD to use her knowledge of homes to solve crimes.

>Tom a park ranger is tasked by the Denver PD to use his knowledge of the outdoors to solve crimes.

Another year of not watching a single network show!

>GIFTED
I'm going to watch this for Acker (she was so good in Person of Interest and deserves a leading role). Otherwise, it all sounds like trash.

Pilot Season will eventually become a reality show in which viewers VOTE for the feces they wish to consume
