Not the one we want, the one we need

They're making some 1999-tier movie about him.

So it's poorly made?

BTW, is thay movie Viking worth watching?

They use slow-mo and other outdated effects. Battles are also not well directed.

Viking has got some good costumes, ggod picture quality which was rare several years ago but it's poorly written, dialogues are awkward as always in modern Russian movies. No spectacular battles. Two hot women.

...

there aren't any

Thanks. I will skip them. Still, some new Russian movies are very good, even those more action oriented, like Dueliant.

If you're gonna put a brazilian president as a hero at least put Vargas, I'm more with this guy , despite Dr.Rey having a Harvard degree I still expect him to be somewhat of a "british monster raving loony party candidate"

...

Are there any interesting historical movies from Brasil? I only saw Getulio.

nice try kebab.

>Dueliant
Hvaen't seen it yet. I'm afraid my butt will explode from all not histrical inaccuracies like in American flicks that mustn't be there.

Unironically the celebrities of the near future on par with real sportsmen. Wht's the game?

Policarpo Quaresma, from the sword republic

Desmundo, first decades of colonization

Carlota Joaquinha, about the transfer of the capital to Rio de Janeiro

And so on, this link has 30 historical Brazilian movies, enjoy guiadoestudante.abril.com.br/estudo/30-filmes-para-voce-estudar-historia-do-brasil/

If you speak portuguese(You can also translate the subtitles It's pretty much understandable) worth checking out this series:

Well, basically it's a capeshit-revenge movie, but with Russian characteristics. It's very well made visually, the story is kinda meh, but it's a solid production, imo. Many new Russian movies have strong visuals, but they lack in other aspects, vide Bondarchuk's Obitajemyj ostrov. Still, there is a lot of other (more serious) movies that are top tier, like Durak, Mayor, Gruz 200, Leviathan, Vozvrashchenie etc. etc., so there is definitely something to watch every year.

...

Muito obrigado. I only know those new productions not related (directly) to history like Dois Coelhos or those movies about BOPE. Cidade de Deus and Boca do Lixo have some historical context, but still it's not the same as classical epic movies.

So falo um pouco. Entendo noticias etc. mas filmes sao diferentes, mais dificil.

Glad to help
