Not this one, that's fior sure

Casino Royale

Dr. No

SOON

spbp

Have you even seen the ones not with DC? Not that I'm saying Skyfall is the best, I'm just doubting you generally.

This guy knows

>the entire "tell" scenario

awful
the second half gets better but then just leads into QoS and is wasted

my vote is for From Russia with Love

The third quarter of the film is pretty messy, but overall it's great

Yeah, I've seen all films with Sean Connery.

Dr. No isn't even the best Sean Connery film.

Skyfall, to be honest. I can't enjoy old Bond flicks anymore. They're good dumb fun for about 90 minutes, but then they keep going on and on. That's really the problem with most Bond movies. They're too long and dumb.

>Skyfall
That might be my favorite, too. I actually like Daniel Craig a lot as Bond.

Stop watching Roger Moore's Bond

I feel the same for most of Connery's films too. Most of them were a chore to sit through in my Bond marathon last year and that includes beloved classics like From Russia With Love and Goldfinger. I'd actually say You Only Live Twice was the best one from the 60s, followed by Dr. No.

GoldenEye, anyone who lists the Craig films is either underage or an American who thinks James Bond is just the British version of Jason Bourne

Unbelievable, not a single mention of Goldeneye..
Pierce easily the best Bond.

Octopussy:
Bsed Sandokan
Based MILF
Based Louis Jourdan

Come on.

GoldenEye is trash dude. It has its positive reputation from the games.

Best story
Best villain
Best atmosphere (gritty post-Soviet)
Good soundtrack by Eric Serra who also composed for Léon, hence the soundtrack similarities.
I was actually rooting for the villain in this one, Silva from Skyfall was great too.
Ourumov, Boris Grishenko, Xenia, Trevelyan; all likeable characters.

GoldenEye is an amazing Bond film, my favourite (and yes, the N64 game is a masterpiece)

>Chigroe fucking shits
What did Bond mean by this?

It's because Pierce was the best Bond, and Bean is also just very likable, but I wouldn't consider that movie to be exceptionally good.

I'd personally go with Dalton tbqh senpai

For England, James?

No, FOR YOU

how is it post soviet if he defected to the soviets?

dalton was the only bond to pull this manoeuvre with a tanker full of cocaine and gasoline to avoid a rocket that then hit another tanker full of cocaine and gasoline and therefor he is the best bond.

youtu.be/uOnwlkRo1TY?t=1m29s
DUDE THE '80s (just) LMAO

yeah, but did you see how many times Craig rolled his car?

He even killed a helicopter and multiple buildings.

was the car full of cocaine and gasoline?

no, but was adrenaline and methamphetamines in the glove box.

DEJA VU

if it's not a tanker full of cocaine and gasoline with a rocket launcher in the vicinity then I'm not interested.

The story takes place just after the Cold War (hence that Soviet statue graveyard), he never defected to the Soviets. He had a plan of his own to become rich and simultaneously take vengeance for the deaths of his parents (who were cossacks betrayed by the British at Lienz, Austria)

anyone with the REAL bloefeld in it

celebheights.com/s/Donald-Pleasance-3069.html
our guy

also damn some of his wives were hot

>GoldenEye: GOAT
>Licence to Kill: also GOAT
>For Your Eyes Only: RogerKino
>Tomorrow Never Dies: underrated
>Casino Royale: GOAT and only contrarian faggots disagree

Dalton was the best Bond because he was the only Bond evil enough to rip off a drug and stash the money in his lieutenant's decompression chamber, framing him. Knowing full well that he'll die a gruesome death that way.

*drug baron

Add the Living Daylights to that list and you're a true patrician senpai

>Ghetto Blaster
YES
the analogue gadgets were the best
I miss Q

Bond died when Q died.

>He even killed a helicopter
The ending of Spectre was so dissappointing... He just fired his pistol at the helicopter and swwooosh it came crashing down and voila Blofeld is defeated

>You Only Live Twice

I feel like it's got so many great iconic elements - Blofeld, the volcano base, the gyrocopter, Bond in an alien culture, that readhead femme fatale, space stuff, more that doesn't come to mind right now

I forgot ninjas, too

>mixing up "iconic" and "tacky"
>while posting a human-version of the doge meme

Gross.

No, for __________

...

Moonraker.

>mixing up "iconic" and "tacky"

Bond works best when it's tacky.

I really like the way that looks.

The film has this grainy-feel to it, the colors aren't muted or fucked around with; it just has this... feeling to it that I really like in 80s/90s movies.

Casino is great, Skyfall has fantastic cinematography, Brosnan's Golden Eye / Tomorrow Never Dies is super comfy.

Never Say Never Again is underrated but kind of cheesy. As is all of Roger Moore's filmography.

Casino Royale or OHMSS. Those are the only two that are actually "good" films by normal standards.

It was before movies were just matching shots to storyboards, then getting the pastel colors just right in post.

MOVE!

Spectre had god tier cinematography

No it didint

Goldeneye is both the best and worst Bond film.

Tomorrow Never Dies has amazing smoky filters

youtube.com/watch?v=NH85zxU4tqU

...

>le thunderball is good meme

Skyfall isn't even the best Craig film. Casino Royale is a lot better.

Quantum of Solace, it's also a plebfilter

Yeah, only plebs like it

This chart is all over the place.

Have you actually seen Thunderball? It's boring. Underwater fight scenes where you can't tell who's who go on for way too long.

Goldeneye is so overrated on here. it's a good movie but definitely not one of the best ever.

>Have you actually seen Thunderball? It's boring
>Its boring

Sorry it doesnt have le epic michael bay explosions and CGI ninja enemies for your autistic millennial brain

Best Connery: You Only Live Twice
Best Moore: The Spy Who Loved Me
Best Dalton: Licence to Kill
Best Brosnan: GoldenEye
Best Craig: Skyfall

t.pleb

...

Debatable. Both are flawed, and trade on and off for superiority in certain areas.

at about 3/4th of the way into the move, both shit the bed between the laughable "got caught on purpose" and emotionless decision to stab Mads with a steak knife that gets interrupted by the CIA bro from philadelphia appearing at just the right time to deliver just the right plot device

Skyfall falls apart when they get back to London. the cringey hacking and villain wanted to get caught is a lot worse than anything that happens in casino.

Last night i bond burgered your sister

whereas Casino comes together once they get out of the casino.

...

>ctrl+f

>no one said On Her Majesty's Secret Service

what the fuck

All of the Moore films. Serious Bond a shit.

Last night I Pierce Brosnan James Bond Cheeseburger your sister

90% of Bond movies sucked until blonde bond.

>On Her Majesty's Secret Service
literally the GOAT, loved George

...

>QOS
>good

it's easily the worst of Craig Bond.

Spectre is objectively worse

Spectre's problem is a terrible conclusion. QOS has problems nonstop.

>problems nonstop

like what

i like shania twain

>Die Another Day and Moonraker Shit tier
How does it feel to not have an opinion of your own you fucking pleb?

>both Daltons in god tier
You are a wise man.

double agent out of nowhere at the beginning
"2deep4u" opera scene
forcing a fighter aircraft to crash while flying a DC3
protagonists saved by the script demanding a wall gets blown open

Don't really like the Brosnans but otherwise into most of them.

The thing about Bond is that there is a Bond film for every occasion and mood.
Sometimes you want a bit of cold war action and From Russia With Love, other times you want Moore quipping like a madman while acting with his eyebrows and a pigeon doing a double take.

They reflect changing tastes and fads (e.g., Live and Let Die is basically a blaxploitation film).

The most overlooked one is The Living Daylights which is an excellent film and maybe a bit ahead of its time Bond-wise.

a bond movie is only a bond movie if bond is the south of france in a casino or fancy hotel somewhere at the start of the movie

OHMRS
Skyfall

Bond is better when hes not Bond.

Is Never say Never Again not considered to be an official Bond film because it's a remake?

Bonds

>Best bonds

1.Connery
2.Dalton
3.Brosnan
4.Moore
5.Craig
6.Lazenby

>Best films

Thunderball
GoldenEye
The Living Daylights
OHMSS
Goldfinger

>Best themes

Nobody Does It Better
Live and Let die
Diamonds Are Forever
Thunderball
Tomorrow Never Dies

a bond movie is only a bond movie when bond is an ape in a suit who wears it as a disguise in order to kill men and fuck their women, then shrug when they die

high-society intellectual closet homosexual bond is the worst

Lazenby was perfect in his one film. He had a vulnerability that connery was incapable of that made the whole movie work wonders.

it's not produced or made by the same people

Die Another Day and Moonraker are objectively bad movies though, with maybe 15 minutes combined fun schlock between them

>people seriosuly claiming Skyfall was good

Capeshit-tier Was getting caught a part of your plan plot
Melodramatic bullshit
Utter disrespect for the formula
Home Alone finale

Nu-Bond fans get the fuck out

>moonraker
>bad

no fun allowed mirite?
