Why is he such a shitty Sith? How could he lost a fight to someone who can barely control the Force?

He likes Rey maybe

>Why is he such a shitty Sith?
I don't think he is. Did anybody even really say "Sith" in TFA?

Why doesn't he have a Darth name?

why doesnt they just name it kotor?

They will in the next movie. Siths are too iconic to be dropped. I bet movie will start with him getting his Darth title.

all stronk women memes aside, this really was retarded. it completely devalues kylo as a villain and basically confirms they're going to have some asspull to make him worthy again in VIII.

Why didn't they just bring back Darth Maul?

Because hes a FUCKING WHITE MAAAAALE!

Rey was fighting to kill

Kylo was fighting his waifu

he isnt sith

This was retarded - It's like Anakin would lost a fight to younglings

He was trying to conceal his boner the whole fight

The retards who keep asking this are the same retards who think Darth Maul or General Grevious were good villains. Stick to the capeshit, kiddos.

Bowcaster

Darth Maul was killed by an apprentice, by a fucking padawan

Obi-Wan was old and experienced enough to already be a Jedi Knight. It was Qui-Gon's fault he was still a padawan

Why didn't Chewie just shoot Darth Vader with bowcaster?

because he just died in Rebels and that takes place before empire falls

and he didn't actually die when he got sliced in half

He was trying to turn her to The Dark Side, not kill her.

Look this thread again, where everyone ignores the fact he got shot before the fight.

Throughout the movie they made it a point that chewbacca's gun was very powerful. The fact that Kylo manages to even walk is extraordinary.

That being said, Kylo Ren can't be a sith if he isn't trained by a sith lord. The official lore is still pretty vague about dark side force users that aren't sith.

He was using that pain to make himself stronger, also. But he didn't know how to channel his anger because Snoke is a failure as a Sith Lord.

Everyone and their mothers knew that fucking everyone said that both he and Snoke are NOT sith. The sith are gone, dead.

Besides, because reylo. He and Rey will be the item of this trilogy. And the nigger and the asian.

The Sith died with Sidious and Vader. I think the new movies are going to be about both sides trying to find a new path in utilizing the force.

Give me ONE quote from the movie where they say Kylo and Snoke are not Sith

He was too emotional.
That is why Darth vader, count dooku, and darth maul are so powerful, they are angry yet controlled, and that is a scary thing.

they never explain why the shot doesn't affect kylo as it did the troopers. first they make a big deal about showing how powerful it is, then kylo just walks it off like it's nothing. it's honestly bizarre and confusing writing

How was he able to stop a blaster shot mid air matrix style at the start of the movie then go on with a full scene while it hangs there in the air yet by the end of the movie he gets BTFO

Kylo is not a sith, Sith are extinct, Vader saw to that

The movie was too shallow to address politics/motives/ideologies/whatsoever, no wonder you're not informed. The info came from Abrams long before VII was even released.

>Siths are too iconic to be dropped
prequel shit is fucking gay.

Because that part was probably in the first drafts of the movie, when Kylo was probably more fearsome, powerful and Vader-like

Stormtroopers are meek damage dealers while Kylo is a tank. You need to use MMO logic on that one.

Maz Kanata says something like:
>I have seen evil take on many forms....The sith, The empire, the new order...

It implies that even Sheev stopped being a sith in the traditional sense. He dropped the whole religious aspect and focussed on military domination instead.

Yet in the the stupid cartoon he gets killed even quicker by obi lmao

Doesn't matter - most of mythology that everyone is familiar with comes from prequels. They cannot drop this - everyone is expecting Snoke to be somehow related to Siths and he will be.

He wasn't a fully trained sith, he was shot by chewbacca, and he wasn't trying to kill rey

He was trying not to step on the spaghetti he kept spilling.

If the Force is basically telepathy then what's even the point of having lightsaber fights? Just choke them until they die or stop their hearts.

The only time it's justified is in the OT because Vader and the Emperor weren't trying to kill Luke and Luke was barely trained in the Force

he is not a sith he is a knight of rey

is this from a game? wow they make the player kill children

He is not a sith, he was injured and he has a boner for Rey.

Who says that's a hard thing to do?

it's never explained in the movies which skills are hard to accomplish, and which aren't.

They're younglings not children.

He's not a Sith but a failed Jedi. That said he is pretty shit and would not last a day back during The Clone Wars.

Not one Jedi or sith has ever done that, and it's not just stopping it for a second but then to just ignore it and go on with a interrogation while holding it there in the back of his mind... that's pretty badass idk

Yes, they did.

because the plot demanded it

>Sith
>prequel shit
youtu.be/ja4WudpzBYw

Snoke: "hey Kylo, remember what we're definitely not?"

Kylo: "Sith?"

Snoke: "You damn right we ain't!"

It's a movie for children. Stop trying to make sense of it, geek.

he's not a Sith
they'll probably find a new name for dark side users that will be "this generation's equivalent of the sith from past trilogies"
just like everything they showed in TFA

>kylo just walks it off like it's nothing
Except he's clearly wounded and that wound costs him the victory against Rey.

Is that true even in the EU? 30 years after RotJ there has been no sith?

he got shot in the stomach

>Why is he such a shitty Sith?
I think that's explained quite well in the movie.

>Siths are too iconic to be dropped.
No they're not. Vader destroyed them in the last movie, it's done. Only the shitty old EU kept Sith going after there was anyone let to pass on the teachings.

When?

>That feel when Darth Caedus will never be a thing again.

>they'll probably find a new name for dark side users
Such as... say... the Knights of Ren?

>When?
See:

probably, but honestly I don't think the other knights are force users

THE TREEES, NOT THE TREES

But that's a fucking stupid interpretation to take.

Weren't they all Luke's students?

Isn't a "Sith" most formally like a title such as Jedi Knight or Master...until them you're a bitch Trainee.

Darth is a title. Sith is the name of the order.

idk, it seems the obvious route for them to take

They said Kylo killed them all but who knows he could have had a clique he ran with and they all went dark. It'd be a nice reveal that half his student went dark and killed the rest because Luke was such a shit teacher.

>Everyone thinks hes a teenager
>He acts like a teenager
>Hes actually in his 30s

He such a failure as a villain. Couldn't he just force choke that guy? Why can't Disney make good villains?

It's like he's the epitome of a modern alt-right white male....manchild with a special ed skinhead theme

I'd say he's less of a teenager and more of "young person", like someone who is 18 or 19 or in their early 20's and horribly confused about what their career path will be

I never really saw him as a villain. It's pretty obvious to me he is going to the light side in the next movie.

>Disney
>this guy who romanticizes Lucas and sees things through nostalgia rose colored glasses

As if original vader wasn't a cartoon character and prequel anakin wasn't just Darth Emo the original with the emperor in both being 40 year old bi-polar virgin. The only difference between Disney and Lucas is the group of shareholders that get money in the end, the mechanisms which create the movies are more or less the same. If Lucas still owned it you would have gotten the exact same movies...with more jar jar
