Turkey has been partially authoritarian but whats occurring is clearly the rise of a dictator. Arresting the coup members is fine, but purging all opposition from education and government basically means democracy is finished there regardless of whether they hold an election.
I don't think it will lead to WW3 though. Too many countries are isolationist. Chances are Europe would just willingly get cucked by the migrant wave
