Movies without women

Let's have a woman-free kino thread

"Woman-free" doesn't necessarily have to mean no women show up on screen at all, it just means the movie's free from any major, instrumental female characters. Pic related.

Let's get the obvious out the way:
Lawrence of Arabia
Master and Commander

12 angry men

Glengarry Glenn Ross

Das Boot

Saving Private Ryan

Good so far

Ghostbusters 2

Apocalypse Now

starred up

Dead Poets Society

A Field in England
Reservoir Dogs

John Wick 1

Any movie about school shooters, serial killers & warmongers

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

But women are quite often very important in school shooters/serial killers lives?

The Thing

Literally not a single woman in the film

Rudy
Thin Red Line
Puppermaster V

Not to mention the woman back home trope in war films

Marvelous. No wonder it's one of my favorite movies to watch again and again.

All Is Lost

Poor Little White Guy 6

your autobiography

Gayniggers in Outer Space

The Revenant

Stand By Me
Bridge Over the River Kwai
The Shawshank Redemption

Not true! His dead wife plays a big part.

Yeah but she's more of a prop than an actual character

Silence
Z
2001
Paths of Glory
Un Homme Qui Dort
La Haine
Stalker
Valhalla Rising

Also, not sure if they qualify:
Zodiac
Memories of Murder
Dr Strangelove
The 400 blows
Andrei Rublev
Ivan's Childhood
High and Low
In Bruges
Moonlight
Oslo, 31st August
Hell or High Water
The Killing

the good the bad and the ugly

Wonder if the Fellowship of the Ring counts

Full Metal Jacket only has the hooker and the sniper, does that count?

Movies without women are highly unrealistic. Male characters are NOT complete without their successes and failures with females, like in real life.

>Male characters are NOT complete without their successes and failures with females

Maybe you, a sad virgin obsessed with >tfw no gf

Other men, real men, have more important things in life to focus on

Lel. 10/10 satire. Very accurate.

the assassination of jesse james

>woman free kino

Woman hating, perma virgin reddditor with the shit posting "Muh kino" thread

Not sure why redditards are so obsessed with saying kino. Probably not smart enough to properly express themselves.

space cop

Hidden Figures.

No country for old men

2001: Space Odyssey

>Zodiac
Nah Jakes wife gets plenty of screentime

Triumph des Willens

Rambo First Blood

The Arrival of the Train

to some extent
Usual Suspects

Snatch
Lock Stock

>Oslo, 31st August

Either you havent seen this or you cant remember it at all

only his ex-gf is important and there's a couple of bimbos, felt pretty personal to me. But now that I think about it you are right, it's filled with women

Most submarine kino.

Hunt for Red October et al

You're wrong on so many of these

>Llewelyn's Wife

the great escape

Locke

Green Elephant

>Center of conflict has two women
>no women
Your IQ =

>Arwen
>Galadriel

>Directed by a woman

It's Gayniggers FROM Outer Space and it does have women.

First Blood

perfectly satisfies OP criterion

...

kek

October Sky
Boyz in the Hood
Enter the Dragon
Reservoir Dogs
3:10 to Yuma
Rudy
Crank
Akira
A Bronx Tale
Rush Hour
No Country for Old Men
The 36th Chamber of Shaolin
Redline
Once Upon a Time in the West
Friday
2001 A Space Oddysey

actually i want to include Sandlot

It doesn't meet the criteria of "woman-free kino" unless you're going to attempt to downplay the role of a director

What about the chess computer?

>October Sky
>Akira
>No Country for Old Men
all have women with major roles

>Moonlight
You obviously didn't see this, and it makes me doubt every other film there. It looks like you're just listing male centric films

>Once Upon a Time in the West
>women-free

>Also, not sure if they qualify:

Poor Little White Guy 2

At the Suicide of the Last Jew in the World in the Last Cinema in the World

Buried

>this thread
>maybe 70% of the movies mentioned are masterpieces

Whoa, is there a correlation?

Valhalla rising

...

Dead Poets Society?

spotted the queer

so many good movies have nothing to do with the lives of women

Tropic Thunder
Black Hawk Down

Any war movie set in history besides soviet sniper gf.

Yes and no. A minute, "meta" female presence in the film consists both of the chess computer, and also of the modelmaker for the saucer itself (a vagina-haver).

Obviously they weren't on screen, but there were some other vagina-havers in the credits, doing menial work. There was also like a script girl or somesuch who was on site in Stewart for a time, and it's when she departed that it set in with the real movie-makers that this is now a total sausage-fest.

>stalker
The stalker's wife and daughter are eqcg pivotal to the narrative
>La Haine
Women help with the character development throughout. Not as great a name drop as the others

>Zodiac
Definitely not. Women definitely have a role
>The 400 blows
How about the kid's mom? She's a huge part of it.
>Andrei Rublev
After the ceremony of love, the girl that escapes plays a pretty major role in ans around the church, as mindless and objectified as she is.

I think you're right in them being far more oriented for men though. These just need asterisks.

Stab in the dark cuz I haven't seen it.

The Kangaroo is a woman

Were there any relevant women in Runaway Train and Death Hunt?

Also: Emperor of the North.
Escape from Alcatraz.
And plenty of westerns and war movies.

lmao how gay do you have to be to watch a movie exclusively because it doesn't feature women in it

Shawshank Redemption

I was about to say this.

Each movie was has one speaking role for a woman and they are incredibly minor characters.

>implying the thing isn't a woman

As far as I can remember, all the women in the film are just background.

The scene where they watch the gameshow technically features women if I remember correctly.
