John Steinbeck planted the seed of communism in america with this book
How so? I haven't read it but is sounds way more despairing than the movie.
There's a stop-motion movie called James and the Giant Peach.

Every place of work is awful but the one with a union. The book makes it seem like that period of time was absolutely hopeless because there were no work regulations and every company treated its employees like they were prisoners. I don't know how bad it was but the great depression was bad everywhere, not just capitalist america. Communism itself wasn't mentioned but Steinbeck took many trips to the Soviet Union to speak with communist officials. I don't know much but if you want to know more there are papers written about it.
The Peach Hoarder (1931)
Have you actually seen this, or is it some IMDb shit?
Does it matter?

I mean, yeah, I don't want it to be Peach Girl (1931) which says it's a pregnancy story
>I don't want it to be Peach Girl (1931)
It won't be, because it's The Peach Hoarder (1931)
The Fall well kind of
Stop motion used to give me nausea, but I got through Nightmare before Christmas not too long ago, so maybe I could get through this
