6th republic when
Not to the point you marry her.
Actually it is a risk for him as well. Merkel was more or less on par with his views.
Who knows who will rule Germany now? What if the next government is more anti europe?
Radical centrists win again.
do u have braincancer spaghetti?
Make way for your new Emperor
>centrist
how is he centrist?
do you even know what centrism is or you're just spouting /pol memes?
...
Jupiter is my favourite politician
he is tho, this is what he's hated from communists to indentitaires
Not the same poster but maybe you don't know what centrism is in the french political landscape but he is totally a centrist, and was allied during the election with the historical figure of centrism.
SDP and CDU are both pro EUrope, a government with neither will not be elected, hell, SPD would be better for him in some ways compared to Merkel as they're more social
the real problem is this will stall EU reforms, which is an issue as it may stall investment
within the context of French politics he definitely is. He's basically exactly what would happen if Le Pen and Hollande had a baby except with less gommunism.
That's how he is largely seen you little tiny brainlet
the only anti europe party in germany is AfD and if they got into power americans would invade
ABSOLUTELY J U P I T E R I A N
>if they got into power america would tweet about it
ftfy
It is a lie, he is a theocratic imperialist. He's basically the Khomeini of France
>wow he is seen as a centrist!
>the media told me so
>>Merkel failed to form a coalition
And now?
She's still in office so far.
Theoretically she can be elected and form a minority gov.
She's not yet done, especially since if we're going to vote again the results will probably be more or less the same.
Social liberalism is what is considered centrism in France.
germany is out of the picture
time for a JUPITERIAN EU
>wow he is not a centrist
>said no one ever
>also im angry because I read about it on a site reddit doesn't like
don't make me come there
Americans are already there, Hans.
>German "democracy"
Why don't you admit you were wrong for once.
It's hard to argue he is not a centrist.
She's weaker that's what counts.
you fucking retard he used to be in two different socialist parties
just because the media told you he is a centrist doesn't make him a centrist
you guys believe everything /pol tells you if there's an image of pepe next to it
AND THEY CALL THE UK UNSTABLE
Macron is a napoleonist and will unite europe into one single Empire after sinking the british isles.
>She's still in office so far.
technically she's just managing right now
But they need each other.
Is Germany the new Italy now? A country in a perpetual political crisis.
And the ex second in command of the FN used to be in the same socialist party.
Your point is ?
>he used to be in two different socialist parties
>so now he's still a socialist
top fucking kek at your understandings of politic games
>you fucking retard he used to be in two different socialist parties
He was in 0 socialist party.
He was in one socialist government, but said himself multiple times that he is not a socialist.
Why don't you stop sourcing what you say with your ass?
He's fairly right wing. But by modern American standards he's a centrist, which tells you something about the US.
Mussolini was too you're not saying anything.
He wasn't even a member of PS. He was just in the Hollande gov.
The Bundespräsident has to decide.
It's relatively easy.
He can propose her for the office.
The other members of the Parliament can either vote her or she will fail.
In this case the parliament itself can nominate candidates that can be elected.
If this doesn't happen the Bundespräsident can decide if he desolves the Parliament and then there could be a new election (which likely brings similar results).
True.
he is not a centrist
you can cry all you want
As a young man I was taught to venerate Chancellor Merkel of Germany "The Mother of Germany."
Did you know her Presidency lasted 52 years?
Does that sound like democracy to you, or a hereditary dictatorship?
Because the council didn't dare oppose her. She was too popular. She had the people's love.
So things ran smoothly, more or less. And as soon as she was gone, as soon as there really could be "democracy" - what happened then
This.
He was not in any party and then started his own.
>a greek is gonna lecture you on your country's politics
pay debts
Why don't you talk about the greek political landscape and we will teach you about the french one?
Macron is the UKs greatest ally
Is that good or bad?
Nigger, you dumb, if anything he's to the right with the labour reforms and the budget cuts he is doing.
He is literally removing taxes that exclusively taeget the rich and is giving reasoning out of the republican(USA) book for doing it.
I can't think of a single policy under him that's truly left. Maybe he sighned more money for students (after moving money from them).
If you want to attack gis claim of centrism, you're moving in from the wrong side.
Merkel is trash, Macron is trash.
there's nothing wrong having absolutely no fucking clue about french politics, just don't embarass yourself pretending you know.
And by the way almost half the right is now joining him.
An ex right wing candidate for the primaries said yesterday that he will fight for his reelection.
Meh, we'll see.
For now its bretty good.
Nah this is far from a crisis, there are still so many possibilities including a reelection. Imo fdp saying they don't want to form a coalation with die grüne is just a negotiating tactic to further weaken their already weak position.
It's a complex situation but not a crisis
tfw not french and cannot experience life under a literal roman god's benevolent rule
tfw not a euro and cannot enjoy his direction in the EU
he still dismantles communist national council of "resistance" heirloom brick by brick
and should he fails to do so, pic related is what awaits us
so I (capitalist to the marrow) for one am rather OK with his economics policy (compared to what came to be French economics tradition)
in the end, all other French alternatives are worse, much worse
found the thessalonigerian subhuman
we had a centre left leader that used to be part of the communist party
people change
I've always felt he was more of a mercury than a jupiter
>that perfectly fitting title
Greek political landscape is shit
there's nothing to talk about
>Nigger
don't be a racist
> if anything he's to the right with the labour reforms and the budget cuts he is doing.
exactly he's not a centrist.
Can someone fill me in on the jupiter meme?
>What if the next government is more anti europe?
Then Macron will be a good president, he will be restrained on the most toxic part of his agenda.
He said he was going to "rule like Jupiter"
Elaborate muhfugga
He said he intended to be a Jupiter style president, which is a concept that existed before him, but was never really tried (as far as I remember).
It is a pr tactic. You can google it, I can't exllain it well.
tremble mortal
...
>was never really tried
wot???
5th Republic has precisely been created for a Jupiterian kind of president
and when talking about that, Macron clearly said he referred to De Gaulle and miterrand's styles
I thought it was developed conceptually later, though as I admitted I don't remember much of what I read.
Yes Habening
he is a protectionist and still gives in to the unions
he is not centrist by any first world standards
>first world
>France
maybe if about half the population (ie communists) suddenly disappeared
Les idéaux de liberté, égalité, et fraternité tombent. Le temps est venu pour un roi en France, le roi de tout la francophonie.
>Vive le dieu-roi
>Ave Jupiter Macronus
t bh I think Germany and France will come to loggerheads pretty soon.
France is probably going to win out and be the leading voice in the EU because Germany's policies have always been much less popular.
>Merkel failed to form a coalition
Big news.
The political lanscape will totally change.
No compromises from either side will be made.
Germany is ungovernable.
Chaos in front of us.
fags
Last time that happened france adopted the euro and suffered greatly to the point that people lost faith in capitalism and damaged the economy Further to the point that they are a junior partner in a union they created(now)
The next polls are going to be interesting because the ones just before today's news draw basically the same picture as in september's election, plus or minus 1% per party. If the next result is similar we're back to square one. Maybe the SPD will agree to a big coalition without Merkel after the next election, if Merkel has the balls to step back instead of clinging to the office worse than Mugabe.

It's literally perfect and I'm pretty sure he actually is Mercury.
Jupiter is obviously Napoleon.
Thanks for the insightful comments, Caesar
OBEY !!
I'm assuming a snap election would likely cause lower voter turnout and higher apathy because let's face it the electorate are a lazy bunch.
This is a good thing for populist parties that had tight results in the last vote and lost marginally in certain areas. The average turbo autist AfD voter is more likely to turn up than the average joe CDU voter for the snap election.
I'm not saying the results would be massively different but it could mean a couple more seats for the AfD and a couple less for CDU and perhaps SPD. FDP Linke and the greens will likely remain around the same.
interesting times.
All hail His Majesty Emmanuel I, Prince of Andorra, First and Only Honorary Proto-Canon of the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, Grand Master of the Légion d'honneur, Protector of Françafrique, Leader of the Free World, and president of some republic in western europe.
BOW TO YOUR NEW OVERLORD, PEASANT
Makes sense.
As far as I know it's a contrast with Hollande. Hollande praised himself on being "Monsieur Normal" and utterly failed at it. In the end he became the opposite, being accused of calling the poor "sans-dents" (toothless) in private.
In opposition to that, Macron desires to be anything but mortal. He wishes to rule like Jupiter, which means that he desires to rule distantly from the masses, carefully weighing his options. Still aloof, but a lot less delusional than it sounds at first.
Is this a colorized photograph of a young Foucault (without glasses)?
