I doubt we'll see gomez's. It wouldn't be fair to chibnall for moff to cast a new master as he leaves
Of course she could always regenerate off screen but it'd be a bit odd to do something so concrete
The notion of missy being the straight man to simm's insanity is so crazy it would probably work really well

Kino Master tribute
oh god
turn on bbc one right NOW
poor christopher
a crazed fan did it, they're saying
if only he had come back to the show...
Reminder that books
Unless Chibs picks the New Master for a small appearance and writes him a few lines in the finale and then the Master fucks off until Chibs takes over.
posted the wrong link, I'm assuming?
You did mean to post this, didn't you?
youtube.com
Didn't Moffat say that he and Chibs had been working together to combine their stories and make sure they interconnect?
Anyone notice the big snot in Tennants nose in that scene?
Simm will bond with Moira's body and become Missy.
Good morning /who/, hope your day is going well so far
Filled art prompt: "cute adric hugging a plushie, surrounded by more plushies that all have the :3 style cute face"
Is there context behind this, or did you just want something cute, user?
post a pic of it
>It wouldn't be fair to chibnall for moff to cast a new master as he leaves
Yeah, but it could be done in a way where you don't see who the next actor is.
It's hard to say what moff will do. We know he doesn't like gaps in regenerations, hence the mcgann short and probably 80% of the reason he's even bringing back simm. So maybe if he's convinced that chibnall has no intentions to use gomez again he'll do a regen.
>The notion of missy being the straight man to simm's insanity is so crazy it would probably work really well
I honestly have difficulty imagining a different relationship. There would be something wrong about gomez not being in control, it wouldn't feel right. Of course simm would still be rebellious and do things his own way and get on her nerves, but I bet the plans will mostly be hers. She's the current Master, so she gets precedent in the story.
>him
Simm is definitely Bills foster mums Boyfriend, it's so obvious. Simm cucked another man of his gf kek.
aw thanks edgey
no context, just wanted cute
>But that's why I think they work so well as an ultimate enemy of The Doctor; talking, reasoning, negotiating is his whole schtick and these guys ain't having none of it
Daleks are the ultimate refutation of the entire Doctor Who. Which means the story can't take them seriously, or they will destroy Doctor Who.
The same reason "Superpowered people with no accountability are pretty scary and dangerous" can't really be fairly considered in cape comics/movies.
Big scottish bugger
What's your favourite Moff episode, /who/?
Only including series 1-4.
Is this doctor who? Because I can't remember it at all
is it from S6?
Bradely will be announced today at 3:pm gmt.
its still not a good joke user
i love how 10 says "remember the axons" as if that was supposed to be a fond memory
I know Time Lords can't remember generally if they meet a future version of themselves but what if Missy makes the Cybermen army in series 8 as a sorry present for wrecking havoc as Simm with the Mondas Cybermen in series 10.
What episode is that image from?
>reminder that bill's foster mum's partner Neville is simm master
don't know what the fuck's going on with that picture, but:
Blink > Empty Child > Silence in the Library > The Girl in the Fireplace
If there's an announcement at 3pm then they will post on Twitter at 2pm announcing the announcement.
that's not obvious enough for the master
it's gotta be either an anagram of or another word for master
Neville is an ex prime minister's name.
Aww I didn't know the actor for Ben Jackson died at 56. His wife died a year later too.
>Michael Craze found this work difficult, as he had just undergone surgery to remove a bone chip from his nose (during which he suffered a burst blood vessel which nearly cost him his life) and the jabolite "snow" blown around the film stage irritated his nose badly. Nonetheless, Craze was undeterred from asking out production assistant Edwina Verner, whose job it was to throw the jabolite into the wind machine — and the two would subsequently marry.
aww
>reminder he's back
i thought the Eaters of light would be super kino celtic druids or something turns out it's a fucking purple cat creature. I had such hopes for Rona's episode she just can't let go of the Cheetah people can she?
Let's play a game /who/.
Name an episode from your favorite series that should have never existed and explain why.
I'm naming the bells of saint john because it was an overrated episode with one unnecessary hype for a companion
>gives the Doctor an ironic gift referencing something that hasn't happened to him yet
I've just given you a cyber army, get it? Because of the whole...never mind. You know, in a few hundred years this'll be really funny
Everything about this post is bad except the Barrowman face morphs.
>series 7 as your favourite series
>Bells of Saint John as the episode from series 7 that should never have existed
oh shit man what are you doing
Well done
>series 7 is his favourite series
I am disgusted with you user
Something has been bothering me; what the hell is up with the quality of the 11th Doctor's DVD sets compared to 9 and 10's? The Davies era DVDs are all put together really nicely, and come with little art booklets, Moffat's era doesn't. Not only that, but all the dividers are held together with tape, the RTD era DVDs aren't. The fuck?
Pic related, I took a picture of my series 7's box set (above) and series 4's box set (below) out of their sleeves.
Glad you were around to see it!
What kind of bait is this?
I know we all wish otherwise. But I do think the modern series will end or be put on indefinite hiatus after the 13th Doctor.
Not as much money in the DVD market these days maybe?
Dubs of truth.
Chibs will do 3 seasons, then they won't be able to find anyone else masochistic enough to be new show runner.
Shame, they really put a lot of work into the RTD era DVDs. Just look at these, they're great.
>Tennant wrote fanfiction for the Series 4 Specials DVDs
pretty cute, honestly
Why bother when barely anyone buys the post series 4 boxsets?
Lots of people enjoy having the physical copy for the bonus features/commentary tracks/subtitles etc.
yeah i get them myself, i'm just saying they don't sell nearly as good as they did a few years back
>Erm, no, no not the Zygons
well guess this isn't canon then
Do you think Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant have even ever met?
Literally god-tier aliens. Prove me wrong.
Don't know if they've ever worked on anything together but I know they filmed the regen scene at different times
There's not many interesting commentaries, which annoys me as someone interested in the writing process, Moffat started off with some in his era but eventually started shying away and they got all kinds of nobodies in production doing them
They acted together in the film 'Jude', and have apparently had tea together
Is there anywhere to download the commentaries? I'd listen to all the Moffat ones (and on Sherlock too) but that sort of stuff is rarely included in rips online.
> TFW First Doctor was an unofficial EU Doctor that the Whovian fandom does'nt care about and who actually started off as a random background character from an unrelated series (joined the DW fandom in about 2011, started actually watching it in 2014)
> TFW your first official DW stuff you actually saw\read\listened to was a Sixie comic, but you were already really familiar with the Whoniverse and its fandom by then, just because of the Internet
> TFW everyone hates you for being in the Doctor Who fandom without actually watching it and think it's the weirdest thing ever
> TFW in four years my puberty will stop and I will become a full adult cishet woman and a normie and have adult normie interests and personality and will think that is weird too
Neville is an anagram of "le evil N" and "N" is next to "M" in the alphabet, it's obvious
Neville = The Evil Master
Don't forget the Evil M from Arthur and the Invisibles, played by David Bowie.
>she just can't let go of the Cheetah people can she?
This creation seems a little bit less fuckable, unfortunately.
I know a hiatus is inevitable, that doesn't bother me that much. I think that could be an interesting time. Wilderness Years 2.0. I doubt it'll come about because of Chibnall though.
Watch the actual show and not just mlp, it's just as autistic, we promise.
What does it mean on Betfair Exchange if there are large stakes backing someone, but nobody wants to take on the backers?
Pardon me for my ignorance.
Does anyone have that audio clip where John Guilor is wishing happy Christmas to someone in character as the Doctor or something like that?
>John Guilor
literally who?
voice of william hartnell from DotD
oh, he was SHEEP. big finish should kidnap him
He's done an audiobook for Doctor Omega, an old French novel that's associated with Doctor Who purely because the original illustrations resemble Hartnell a bit. I think he's done a few unofficial Who things.
Moffat should get him to dub over Bradley's dialogue.
That would be amazing, but I feel like it would be too obvious. Even actors doing their own ADR can stand out a lot. Would be hard to sync up with the ole lips yknow
Kris Marshall will be the wildness doctor 2.0 for the next 15 years.
Gatiss working on a League of Gentlemen reunion
There's an interview with him on Youtube that I'm watching now, and it's funny how much Ian Levine is involved. The interviewer asks how John started out doing Doctor impressions and he says Ian asked him to do a bunch of private projects.
Then:
youtu.be
Watch at 1:41
I can't believe Ian is still bothering Doctor Who producers and taking credit for things aspects of the show.
I watched the first series and a bit of the second one. I sort of liked it. I don't remember laughing much and a lot of the sketches annoyed me.
unless the show really takes off under Chris and Kris...
it won't
youtube.com
Listening to this mix, some of it's really nostalgic. Really wish Big Finish could use this music. I'd love to hear The Doctor's Theme in an 8 audio, I think it'd really suit him.
For those interested on how much the cast and writers make.

a goodbye present for lil moffy?
where are these numbers from
Seriously though why did Coleman get Lucas and Mackie's salary combined?
3 months since Capaldi announced he was leaving.
citation needed desu
Do you have the figures for all series? Curious how Capaldi's paycheck compares to the other Doctors.
pls respond
She's a big name and had been working on DW longer I guess. Mackie was a literal who before she got cast, I don't think she even had a Wikipedia page.
>Moffat
>100k
holy shit
JUST
bill will be the best companion of nuwho
What I'm really curious about is what the other writers get per episode
10p and a bucket of chips
reminder that there is a universe for every possibility and therefore there must be a universe where Davros' reality bomb DID blow up, which then in theory should mean the entire multiverse was destroyed, but it wasn't.
Was it a dud all along?
>implying RTD is canon
>rtd
>canon
nope
dubs and the finale is GOAT
It is the first time I watched anything with Eccelston too (some of the more cerebral episodes)
dubs and simm gives a GOAT performance
