How did they manage to fuck up so bad after the masterpiece that was Casino Royale? Could someone give me a quick rundown?

oh good, run down is being run into the ground

The writers strike mangled QoS, end of story. They never really recovered.

Casino Royals cashed in on the tendency to bound films to 'gritty' realism which was the flavour of the year with Batman Begins etc.

Quantum then ripped off Bourne/MI. Skyfall is just TDK. Spectre tried to copy team-up persistent movie universes i.e. The Avengers - they forced the connections between Craig movies so much I got cancer.

Basically they never tried to make a Bond film. They ripped off flavour of the month and got lucky once arguably twice.

Casino Royale is not that good.
You're overrating it because it was most likely the first "Bond" film you saw.

people in general want to see the same shit over and over again, so instead of a bond with some character development along with action movie stuff, we get inspector gadget for so called adults

What the fuck are you on about

Really like this poster, besides the truck part kind of. It was an awesome scene in the movie but it just looks a little out of place on the poster. Probably should've just put his car there instead

Need a piece of action in the poster. Bond alone in his car wouldn't be very exciting

casino royale is fucking great you nostalgiafag retard

All they did was pander and rip off whatever was popular at the time.

Why am I supposed to dislike Skyfall?

>Casino Royale is not that good.

TDK meets House Alone in a film that will only be remembered for Javier Bardem's wacky hair and the awesome theme song by Adele.

no it actually is really good, watch it again

post more posters, these are amazing

Spectre is the fucking worst.

probably because while they were looking to have a fresh start, this was easy because they hadn't done Casino Royal properly before
then they fucked it by not continuing on with the rest of the books, or even just making the ones that made for shitty films again

how fucking young are you for that to be your first?

True. Spectre was a fucking abortion that even shooting on 35mm couldn't save.

Casino Royale was a breath of fresh air for the series and a great return to the character. That being said, it was a great movie and a great Bond movie.

I've seen every Bond film at least 4-5 times each. Roger Moore is the best Bond, only because Dalton's tenure was too short to really count, and Connery was the worst Bond hands down. FIGHT ME.

Daniel Craig was a terrible Bond and you can only get lucky so many times

...

>got that nut slapping rope slung over his shoulder

And Blofeld was behind the corner during that scene, giggling like a maniac.

So basically like every bond film?
