Blonde hair also independently evolved in Melanesians, black skinned people with no vitamin D deficiencies.

light colors reflect more light. that makes no sense

so in 10000 years all muslimas will be blonde?

Yes it is. It's so you can absorb more vitamin D from the sun. That's why you have blonde hair as a kid as well, because as a child you need as many vitamins you can get.

...

you can't absorb sunlight through hair you fucking dunce

sunlight makes hair lighter and skin darker

. Yeah but sunlight helps you absorb vitamin D into your body. I wasn't implying that you absorb sunlight through your hair.

american eduction everybody

KILL THE MUTANT. PURGE THE UNCLEAN.

Sunlight doesn't help you absorb Vitamin D, it creates Vitamin D3 by way of chemical reaction that requires UV-Rays.

Hair will block to an extent a significant amount of UV-Rays no matter what colour. The colour of your T-shirt doesn't change the amount of sunlight hitting your skin either you dunce since it hits the fabric first.

>amerimutts

screencap this shit for future generations

>what is vitamin D synthesis
Must be a bad feel being dumber than a burger

It's Mexico, dude. They don't learn a lot in school except how to decapitate the heads of rival cartel members.

About the same time dogs were domesticated. What a coincidence...

no it was the result of a few tribes with the trait moving into and dominating northern europe like the abos of papua

>Cholecalciferol synthesis happens in hair

PLEASE, be brainlets somehwere else

>implying we need to be taught how to behead
It's basic instinct for us

I better give those blondes some vitamin D then nomsayin

He's right

>A typical explanation found in the scientific literature for the evolution of light hair is related to the evolution of light skin, and it turn the requirement for vitamin D synthesis and northern Europe's seasonal less solar radiation.[30] Lighter skin is due to a low concentration in pigmentation, thus allowing more sunlight to trigger the production of vitamin D. In this way, high frequencies of light hair in northern latitudes are a result of the light skin adaptation to lower levels of solar radiation, which reduces the prevalence of rickets caused by vitamin D deficiency. The darker pigmentation at higher latitudes in certain ethnic groups such as the Inuit is explained by a greater proportion of seafood in their diet and by the climate which they live in, because in the polar climate there is more ice or snow on the ground, and this reflects the solar radiation onto the skin, making this environment lack the conditions for the person to have blond, brown or red hair, light skin and blue, grey or green eyes

blonde hair doesn't really offer an advantage it has no disadvantage in Europe. People with low melanin do better in Europe so when theres no melanin in your hair it makes no difference.
Go to a hot part of the world and a lack of melanin in your body will mean sunburn and stuff
