World needs about 1.1e11MWh of energy
Nuclear power plant has a 33% efficiency, so we need 3.3e11MWh of energy from fission reactions
1g of U235 gives you 24MWh, so we need 1.375e10g, or 13750 tonnes of U235.
Commercially enriched uranium is about 3% U235, so we need 458333 tonnes of uranium.
Total world reserves are 7641600 tonnes, so there’s actually enough for 16 years of power, my apologies. Of course this is ignoring that it needs to be enriched so you’re wasting some that way, but I’ve wasted enough time writing this out I’m not going to bother trying to work that out as well.
