Randy Dorton's name better be on the list of nominees next year
Jace Nelson
Based Yung sneak
Samuel Cooper
>With Dorton, the team won nine NASCAR championships. Holy shit....yea, that's some HoF worthy shit right there. They should have cloned that motherfucker.
Sebastian Hall
Friendly reminder that Sato is our guy.
Jace Clark
>marco still has a full season ride and munoz is Indy-only fuck this worlddddd
Dylan Myers
The absolute state of BK Racing
Colton Walker
New Australian Racing series from this weekend and they will have old NASCAR Australia cars as well
In a more mild fashion : Hinch', the Carlin guys (rooting more for Carlin, the team rather than the drivers) and the former F2 guys, seeing how they do well (especially Binder who's the last WSR3.5 champion ever). I'll be watching Veach how he progresses.
Will watch the progress in the feeder series : Pato O'Ward, Colton Herta (Lights), Oliver Askew, Harrison Scott (Pro Mazda), Kyle Kirkwood, Calvin Ming (USF2000).
IndyCar drivers in general seem to be the least contemptible racers in any series outside of maybe GT racing, except maybe Marco and Power
Benjamin Martinez
Newgarden because muh Penske
>t. Logano and Keselowski fan
Camden Hill
Power is actually autisms, pls no bully
Anthony Foster
tfw no trucks
Christopher Martin
Sato, the frogs, Hinch for the memes,
Ayden Cooper
Here's all the times for streaming today.
Dylan Reed
Imagine wanting an autograph from an F2000 guy
Angel Turner
doubt you'd have to wait long
Jack Bennett
Might be good in the future though, got AJ Allmendingers autograph in Montreal 2002 while he was still racing Barber Dodge and honestly had no idea who he was back then.
Hudson Rodriguez
>go to phoenix >scorching temps >drivers exhausted in their cars >sweat pouring everywhere >pit crews fainting on pit road due to excess overheating >BK racing has been engorging themselves on free water >hydrated as fuck >all the top teams make horrible mistakes due to heat exhaustion >gaulding picks them all off one by one >checkered flag, gray gaulding! >have you ever?
Jacob Carter
...
Parker Stewart
Too bad the average highs are in the upper 70s there this time of year.
Charles Cruz
I got john andretti's back in 2001, Pretty sure I threw it in the trash some years later.
Asher Bell
Imagine being born into a family so successful that memeing your way to a Daytona 500 win still makes you a loser.
Easton Fisher
I don't think he won a daytona 500, he did win the 400 back in the 90s.
Only one person in that family has ever been sucessful.
Nathaniel Cox
>Shank: "All their inerter programs, all their damper programs, all the stuff that does nothing for the show, zero value... you have to be a part of that. You have to buy into that at some level, so I spent a hundred grand right away [for one set of shocks] and that just scratches the surface. [A mortified Shank would later acknowledge spending $190,000 on two sets of IndyCar dampers to keep up with the competition]. That doesn't include the shaker [rig] time and the development and the new bits we've got to build, and it's just out of control.
>"There's all kinds of arguments. Everyone has a stance on this. The open areas that they've opened up, I understand that Dallara didn't deliver a price that they liked and they wanted to be able to go after it. Well, when you buy a car, you buy a car for $389,000 I think it is or something like that, and then I've got a [separate] stack of invoices this tall from 15 different companies to build one racecar."
>Carlin: "I completely agree with Mike. When I've just bought two Formula 2 cars, and I've taken delivery of one, you get every piece of that car. You collect the engine on a different day. You get the engine with every piece, and on Wednesday all the teams will run one car as an official shakedown to make sure – to get all the bugs and everything out of it, and we've got every nut, bolt, washer from one supplier. Everything. You build the car, get it painted, make it look nice. Simple. All the same [for one price].
Aaron Davis
Michael won a CART championship
Justin Hughes
The first crash of the season is a Porta-John Truck(a literal crapwagon) running over Chip Ganassi's Hospitality area and smacking a hauler.
Carter Torres
>crapwagon FUUUUUUUUUUCK TONY GEORGE
Kevin Cruz
Also Nosecams. Michael was very good, there's a reason he's in the top ten for Indycar wins.
Ryan Ward
Live in a minute.
Angel Garcia

Aaron Richardson

Ethan Bennett

Anyone notice that Daly is still driving the #4 Foyt car in spirit according to the scrolling time sheet? The picture tells the story, no idea.
Jason Martinez
>Daly is still driving the #4 Foyt car in spirit according to the scrolling time sheet? weird
Brandon Perry
Matheus Leist fastest in practice 1 lads wew
Jack Lewis
Last year, Marco Andretti topped practice 1 with a time of 1:03~ Must have been warmer+ worse surface. Good to have new blood up there.
Austin Gutierrez
The Leist shall be first and the first shall be Leist. Who had AJ Foyt's rookie as P1 in practice? Go buy a fucking lottery ticket.
Brody Howard
anyone have a pirelli world challenge stream?
Nathan Roberts
Now that I think about it, I think one of the turns was reconfigured last year and again this year.
Dominic Rivera
Bourdais is /myguy/ Jones is someone I'm keeping an eye on. AJ Foyt in general is another team I'll watch
And of course, Penske.
Grayson Rodriguez
Practice 1 results.
Easton Taylor
I thought Indycar had the Aeroscreen?
Hunter Price
the screen is still in testing
John Sanders
Not this year. They tested the first proper prototype at Pheonix for Visibility, which was good. There are extensive ballistics tests planned, despite opticor being a proven Jet Canopy material and very thick in its Indycar configuration, since it hasn't been tested in that shape. They'll also be adding a NACA duct for cooling in the cockpit as well as changing the mounting device shape. We'll probably see it in 2019 if all goes well.
Jack Evans

Alexander Scott
indystar.com/amp/410309002 >Miles: Imminent TV deal will put more than half of IndyCar's races on broadcast TV
That would be some measurable positive momentum.
Anthony Lopez
Oriol Servia's ride with Scuderia Corsa in association with SPM.
It's scuderia Corso in association with RLL not SPM
Anthony Perez
My mistake. Thanks.
Luis Campbell
>still a bunch of cup drivers in every xfinity race
Daniel Nelson
Red pill me on Silverstone. They were qualifying earlier, then racing, but now they're practicing again?
Adam Thompson
that color is grody
Jaxson Cook
Chip said that it's too late to put an Indy 500 program together for Kyle Larson and said that Kyle, after seeing Dixon's accident last year, would have to gather the courage to do so.
Aiden Thomas
Practice 2 goes live in about 6 minutes.
Jacob Bailey

Zachary Torres
>bin-der
Jayden Barnes
>mfw i see it in the wall
Jayden Flores
>he missed the wall by fucking inches
Ryan Cox
RHR fastest in p2
Chase Baker
Practice 2 results did not surprise me as much as the first session.
James Hinchcliffe being up there surprises a bit, but perhaps SPM's employee and aero kit changes are making an impact.
Ian Gomez
What was the best lap last year?
Thomas Walker
In practice 2 of St. Petersburg 2017, the fastest lap was held by Scott Dixon with a 1:02.5591. I believe one of the turns has been reconfigured slightly, the surface may be kinder, and the temperature is cooler this year, I believe.
Ian Roberts
Dunno but the lap record around st pete was set in 2016 by will power. 1:00.2450
Andrew Nelson
>earnhardt
Kayden Collins
1:01.0640 was Pole Position by Will Power in 2017 Fastest lap in Qualifying in 2016 was a 1:00.0658 by Will Power, but only the Fast 6 time counts so the lap Record is a 1:00.2450 also set by Will Power.
The 2018 cars aren't far off all things considered despite having around 5300lbs of DF while the Manufacturer kits produced 6600-6800lbs. 1:00.8295 in Practice is respectable.
