Have you been around teenagers recently? Cringeworthy isn't the half of it.
honest to blog?
please don't tell me this is a real line in a movie
Teenagers are idiots, and the way they talk is cringe worthy
It was in Juno. You know, the movie that won an Oscar for "best writing".
Teenagers are idiots because their hippy parents are fucking retarded and didn't raise them right. Send them off to public schooling where they learn to twerk for jamal :)
t. teenager
Do you think teenagers 100 years ago were as bad as teenagers now?
Thanks is for this Karlie pepe
umm but it is supposed to be cringeworthy, since teenagers in tv and movies are mostly immature characters
or not?
They were way worse.
Atheists will defend this.
Okay, but then there's times where it's cringeworthy where the writers are clearly struggling to imitate the vapid, sarcastic stone of teenagers and failing. Examples would be Boyhood and 13 Reasons Why.
>Teenager and their parents talk as though they're friends
Okay. I still don't have to like it.
>scene between father and son
>something serious comes up
>father gets on knees
B-but the modern age starts in the 40s/50s and by some definitions can go as far back
teenagers are cringy as fuck
t. did volunteer IT work at a high school a few years ago for work experience
>scene between father and son
>some cringy quote from father like "hey champ, wanna go watch some football"

Did they call you a fag and make fun of your shoes?
>>basically every episode of Riverdale
I didn't know Riley Reid was a child actress
You're all teenage neets pretending otherwise.
I wish.
>projecting
>when a reviewer hasn't been executed
I'm 25 with a job that pays $38 per hour.
Kiss my ass.
Neds did this right
OP here. Watching 13 Reasons prompted this thread. It's not a bad series, but holy fuck, the dialogue is like Joss Whedon on steroids.
But haven't you realised? People who were kids when SMS language was evolving are in their 30s now.
Sometimes I wish I was a teenager again. Until I spend a few minutes around teenagers, and realize that I was probably that fucking stupid once. And I'm not exactly a genius today.
