Trump shot himself in the foot by appealing to the Koch funded Tea Party retards on Obamacare.

How the hell is he going to convince people who are already on it to repeal it completely, when he doesn't have an alternative plan in place? Face it, Obama won in 08' in such a large margin primarily because of healthcare reform. Yet America is still the only first world country without public healthcare.

As a Greek I can tell you that even though i leave in debt ridden declining shithole. No Greek, regardless of political affiliation, has gone against public healthcare once he has tasted it's benefits. And I'm sure it's pretty much the same in every western European country.

Millions of Americans were thrown off of their existing health plans and forced into more expensive ones that subsidize the Dem voter base.

Fuck off you filthy greek fuck and pay your fucking debts.

Obamacare is a fucking failure.

Do you even know how it works?

Everyone's forced on it and has to pay $400 per month for basic coverage.

Then you still have to pay co-pays for every single service because insurance in the US fucking sucks.

and finally then there's the fact that they don't even cover your costs until you hit $10,000 in medical costs.

So really you're paying $400/month for nothing.

Disgusting.

You're better off without coverage and paying in cash.

>literally a fucking commie shithole 3rd world country

Shut the fuck up, the last time you were relevant, Zeus controlled the weather

>random meaningless shill post!@!#@!#!!!!
Saged, forgotten, eat shit retard

Obamacare hits working lower to middle class people really fucking hard. Any sort of claim to knock it down should be met with thunderous applause.

>Koch funded Tea Party
So the Clinton Foundation is a real charity, but nobody was upset at Obama's policies until the remarkably energetic Koch brothers paid them?

Obamacare is repealing itself retard. A number of the coops are going broke and big healthcare companies are withdrawing from the exchanges because they cost way the fuck too much. Nobody can manage a system that is defined by tens of thousands of pages of regulations siting on top of 2,700 pages of law that was never read by the faggots that passed it. It creates entirely too much bureaucratic dead weight and introduces far too many middlemen.

Obamacare is not socialized medicine. It is a gigantic cave-in to insurance companies. If anything it is privatization, the opposite of socialized medicine. A slimeball liberal columnist here in Detroit wimpered afterwards that Obama wasn't able to go the full Gulag because of the meanies in Congress, but somehow the strengthening of private insurers is a step in that direction. I stopped reading him for that.

We pay for our public healthcare through our taxes you dumb swamp kraut.

Greece has high taxes because of other reasons not because of healthcare. On teh contrary there is a lack of medical personnel right now.

>Everyone's forced on it and has to pay $400 per month for basic coverage.

Do you know how much a basic check-up costs in the US? An x-ray can cost far more than 400 dollars.

>So really you're paying $400/month for nothing.

Basic coverage is basic coverage, it means you don't fucking die, if there is an emergency and don't have to pay privatized healthcare scams that can cost up to a 1000$ due to unfair competition.

Greece has never been communist

How so? What kind of healthcare will poor people get as opposed to Obamacare if it is repealed? Private healthcare is far more expensive currently than Obamacare.

>A number of the coops are going broke and big healthcare companies are withdrawing from the exchanges because they cost way the fuck too much

The point is that co-ops or private insurance companies wouldn't be able to blackmail Obamacare on prices because Obamacare would just cover basic coverage . If the big insurance companies are withdrawing and allowing smaller subsidized companies that do coverage get into Obamacare then that's a could thing because it brings the price of coverage to less expensive levels.

This is why you cannot socialized medicine in half-assed way like Obama did. Either the state directly provides coverage and you also have private healthcare companies on teh side. Or you have the schizophrenic system America has right now.

Trump mentioned that he would "keep the mandate" but it unclear what he meant by that and what aspect of Obamacare he would actually keep.

You didn't pay attention. Medical costs are going up in the US under Obamacare, because Obamacare took an already too complex and profiteered system and made it even more complex - so complex that the profiteers can't even keep up. It was supposed to be a back door subsidy for the big insurance companies, and it failed. Obamacare is going away. It is unsustainable, and that which cannot be sustained will go away.

>Private healthcare is far more expensive currently than Obamacare.
Obamacare IS private healthcare, just with loads of extra shit tacked on to even out the cost for everyone else (e.g. everyone has to pay for maternity insurance, even men and menopausal women). The idea is to even out the cost of insurance for everyone, so high risk insurees can still afford coverage.

The end result are premiums and deductibles increasing by shitloads for most people, to the point that most of the people who Obamacare was intended to help not being able to afford it (or being able to afford it and not even get to take advantage of it because of $5000 deductibles), and to make matters worse also getting fined for not having insurance.

It didn't even begin to fix the root issue, which is that everything to do with healthcare is insanely expensive, rather it doubled down on the broken system by making it illegal for citizens not to support it. Even as a libertarian, Obamacare is such a mess that I'd rather have a single-payer system.

uhh, you do know premiums going up 30% right??? You do know 2017 will be even worse with companies leaving the exchanges....

this was by design, low quality single payer was the goal from the start, and people are not ok with that

Obamacare is fucking shit. I hate it so fucking much. They won't approve any medication I've been on for years unless I use a generic first, it's really fucking my shit up.

Fuck niggercare.

>We pay for our public healthcare through our taxes you dumb swamp kraut.

what does paying for your public healthcare through your taxes have to do with you paying your debts?

o right nothing

>Do you know how much a basic check-up costs in the US? An x-ray can cost far more than 400 dollars.

I don't think you understand what I said. YOU HAVE A MONTHLY PLAN YOU ARE FORCED TO PAY. THIS DOESN'T INCLUDE ANYTHING.

An X Ray is not "basic" and isn't covered. YOU PAY FOR THAT. UNTIL YOU HIT YOUR LIMIT AND SPEND $10,000 PER YEAR.

WHAT ARE YOU EVEN SAYING?

>Basic coverage is basic coverage, it means you don't fucking die, if there is an emergency and don't have to pay privatized healthcare scams that can cost up to a 1000$ due to unfair competition.

THIS IS MY WHOLE POINT. BASIC COVERAGE IN AMERICA ISN'T BASIC COVERAGE. IT DOESN'T COVER SHIT.

LMAO '''''UNFAIR COMPETITION''''' HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO AN AMERICAN HOSPITAL?

AGAIN, FUCK OFF

YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT.

>as a greek
you poor bastard

Obamacare is fucking shit.

Literally every insurance company that's involved in the single payer marketplace is losing money.

650 counties only have one fucking insurer on the healthcare exchange.

The deductibles for Obamacare are fucking crazy. It's like 3000-6500 before Insurance even kicks in. And most of the plans have shitty networks. Doctors don't want to take it either because it barely even covers costs.

The whole system is a mess. Sure, more people are insured now. But its not sustainable, and it's eitheir going to lead to major correction in the insurance market thats going to cause problems for people, or its going to lead to the further monopolization of the insurance industry.

THIS GREEK FUCK DOESN'T KNOW WHAT A DEDUCTIBLE IS

THIS GREEK FUCK THINKS THERE'S SUCH A THING AS 'PRIVATE HEALTHCARE' LOL

Please Greece, next time at least read fucking wikipedia before making a thread.

Obamacare forces poor people to pay money they can't afford, for shitty coverage they used to be able to get either a lot cheaper or "free", so the insurance companies can get even richer, without actually improving the health care system.

>Greece
The last time you were relevant was when Aristotle was still alive.
Just shut up and let the real countries speak.

>that flag

I dont think he understands deductibles

>Obama won in 08' in such a large margin primarily because of healthcare reform.

Yes he did.

Unfortunately Obamacare did nothing about the run away price gouging, so now premiums are higher than ever, we're still paying $1000+ deductibles, and the quality of healthcare has not improved at all.

The thing is that Obamacare is NOT public healthcare. Obamacare is a shitty attempt at regulating health insurance coverage plans that makes many plans even more narrow and more expensive and only benefits a few.

I'm a Trump supporter and an independent, but I don't care. In regards to healthcare, I believe in the socialist system of universal coverage funded by taxation.

HOWEVER, Obamacare is a horrible plan. I'd rather have Trump repeal Obamacare and break state lines for cheaper healthcare than have Obamacare.

I say, with healthcare, you either go all in or don't go in at all.

are you a flyover faggot who's never traveled?

Obamacare sucks.
As a Greek you don't know shit about how things work here.

>As a Greek
>western European country
>western

oh you fucking wish

I'm enrolled in covered california which is california's statewide version of obamacare.

It only saved me like a whole $9/month over getting an individual plan directly from an insurer and I'm considering switching over because CC is broken, broken, broken. The website is broken, their mailing system is broken, their phone line is broken. I have to use a private licensed insurance coordinator to fix any sort of problem with my health plan because there is no way for a normal citizen to navigate the red tape.

Once I was in her office trying to get my plan unfucked for the 5th or so time. She called up someone from CC and tried to hand the phone to me but the CC rep wasn't "cleared to talk directly to the insured" so instead the rep would say something to my coordinator, who would repeat it to me, then I would respond to the coordinator and she would repeat it to the rep. It was like a fucking monty python sketch.

I will admit the upside of CC and obamacare is that people with pre-existing conditions, who before were sometimes basically condemned to rot, can finally get the the medical care they need. But the system obama and the CA legislature put together is ridiculously bloated and pretty much just typical of whatever happens whenever our government sponsors social programs.

This. everyone who works for a living knows the score. Our premiums fucking tripled and deductibles quadrupled. The cost of everything went up should you even use it. Anyone who doesnt know this is a parasite voting for Hillary anyways. Anyone who thinks they did not have to pay more does know that their employer did have to pay more, and you'll be sitting around wondering why you cant get a raise and then you got laid off or cut to part time. Obongocare has been a complete disaster for everyone except the people who wrote it - the health insurance companies and the medical supply companies whose margins blew up.

Also start reading about Obamacare cliffs if you want a laugh

nice try shill

HELLO FAGGOT

you don't even know what Obamacare is do you?

I was thrown off an incredibly good plan b/c my mom works for an insurance company. Obamacare fucked me so bad, my premium increased by 600%

The only thing it did was expand medicare and medicaid to illegals. that's it. Trump has already said he's going to expand it even further and open up interstate commerce so insurance companies can compete across state lines, something that the big 3 insurance companies do not want, and who wrote the bills to stop competition.
