Question Time

I am here to answer your questions about the messaging at the Republican National Convention.

Also, I am free to answer questions you have about the selection of Mike Pence as VP.

As usual, I will have one hour from the time of my first response.

Where do things go from here?

Why did he choose Pence over more well known options? Was it solely for balance or is there an advantage to Pence with independents in the rust belt that we don't understand yet?

What made Trump choose Race Banon? What plans does he have for Ben Carson

How will Ted's speech impact the campaign?

How does the Trump team take CNN's poll numbers showing massive shift in support for Trump after his speech. Manafort said he thinks Trump is ahead in Virginia, where else do you now think Trump is ahead?

Pic related

What is Manafort planing for Virginia in the next week?

He hinted at something involving Virginia during the RNC in the Hannity Interview.

Are you guys going to do anything during the DNC or will you just go dark?

Was Trumps smug Pepe pose a nod to us?

I'm for the most part over my concern about Pence but why was it him as opposed to Flynn or Webb?

Was Jim Webb ever considered? Was another, crossover candidate thought of as a strategy to attract Bernie voters?

We're going to win Michigan, I bet.

Is Carl Ichan still up for Treasury secretary?

I don't have a question. I just wanted to post this.

Why oh why has trump gone full social liberal?
FAGS DOOM NATIONS

Since you guys knew about Cruz's intentions ahead of time I can only assume that you had some sort of expectations for how things would play out.

Did events transpire to your liking? How do you plan to reconcile with that fragment of the part, or do you plan on doing that at all?

Was the Melania Speech thing planned out by The Donald to force the inevitable Michelle Obama / Melania Trump contrast split screen on national telivision for everyone to see?

Is Trump a Barron plant?

Will Sheriff Clarke and Mark Burns be used more visibly to annihilate Black Lives Matter in the future?

A lot of things have changed since the last question time. The selection of Mike Pence brought the RNC 100% on board. The campaign has had access to more resources and networks than before and it has helped the campaign "triangulate" it's messaging.

With the convention over, Trump's campaign messaging will be focusing a couple of things.

> Increasing enthusiasm among Trump's base
> Increasing the width of the base
> Decreasing enthusiasm among HIllary's base

and most importantly

> Positioning for the Debates.

Trump's daily messaging will paint himself as the most competent candidate, as the candidate for the working class, and Hillary Clinton as the establishment figure who doesn't care about voters.

Jesus, did you watch Flynn's speech? The guy is like Al Gore in terms of weird, and cringier.

>aspergers level fixation on fags
>canadian flag
the convention is over ted

Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

DID I DO QUESTION TIME RIGHT?

Do you think it would have been slightly better for Mike Pence to sell his own vision slightly more strongly compared to giving a Trump pep talk, especially after starting off admitting that nobody knew about him, and then didn't say a whole lot more than his father was a postal worker, christian, conservative, and republican in that order, and time to meet my beautiful family?

I might have expected maybe at least a little bit more on what he admired in Trump, relating it back to his record in Indiana, etc.

Was the Trump campaign behind the $3500 supplied to troll.army for bonuses and bounties? Why do they want us to destroy click bait websites credibility and ad revenue?

(Not complaining tho)

Ted doesn't have a physique to get homosex. If he can't have it, no one can.

That is good.

For the record, while I was unsure about Pence at first, I am impressed at his Speech skills, and am happy he disavowed his past cuckoldry.

The Don knows how to pick his people.

How do we volunteer to canvas and phone bank?

I'll admit I wouldn't be thrilled about him either he is a pretty shitty speaker but I thought Trump would want military and independent appeal as opposed to Pence who was essentially a relatively unpopular governor of an already red state
But after tonight I aint too worried

>1488

>mfw kek blessed by post

What did America mean by this?

Many reasons to choose Pence, not the least of which was the benefit of unifying the party.

The RNC now has skin in the game. It has invested in Pence's career before and views him as a successor (or even a primary challenger in 2020) should Trump win the election. This means the RNC will stop half--assing it's ground game.

Trump was reliant on the RNC's connections, resources, and institutional knowledge of regional GOP networks to create a ground game. Before the selection of Pence the RNC didn't have much of an incentive and it was hampering the campaign.

Also, Pence can reach out to consistent GOP voters in swing states that Trump is an outsider too. Don't forget that evangelical pastors play an underappreciated effort in driving turnout in swing states. This networking of churches is a huge structural advantage for the GOP that it enjoys every cycle, Pence brings that network into play for Trump. He can do the backroom deals with those pastors that Trump can't because those pastors don't necessarily trust him.

Turnout will win this election.

Are you not incredibly nervous that trump is going to get utterly destroyed in the debates?

Is Mr. Trump going to meet Are Nige?

It's a huge net positive.

Good fucking luck.

When will Trump say something of substance?

>or even a primary challenger in 2020

How could that happen?

Fuck off out of here

Participate when Hillary does a Question Time

Second great 1488 post of the night.

It was expected, but it's good to see the results.

Trump's greatest asset is his natural instinct for Public Relations. Mika said it best "He's a television producer". Everything in this convention has gone well and to Trump's benefit.

Everything.

Yes, Everything.

>Virginia

Trump probably is ahead in Virginia TODAY, if only because of the massive amounts of press he's gotten the past week. Will that hold through the end of next week?

Depends on the DNC's convention.

What is Barron's deal?
Is #HeWithHer?

>Was Pence the deal Trump needed to make with the establishment Republicans? Are there any advantages to having him that we're just not seeing?

>Was there some kind of mind game being played between trump and Cruz back there, or was he just pissed off?

>I felt really neutral about Kimberlin Brown's speech. Why have her speak? it doesn't seem like a bad move, but I don't get exactly what the narrative was that having her supported.

>The coal thing. Is Trump all over coal as a national issue, or is this just for West Virginia?

>I have a feeling Peteer Thiel's part of something larger you guys are doing. Is this the "unifying America" bit you mentioned earlier?

>I know the DUDE WEED LMAO thing is a dumb issue to care about, but I've asked questions in two of these and held off on this one: You know anything about how Trump feels about pot? Degenerate? A-okay? Something to leave up to the states?

>What's with Gingrich's shit-eating look lately?

You sound like a stupid ass kike. An hero

I can't say because I'm not 100% sure, and if I was sure I still wouldn't say.

> Rule 1, no leaks
> Rule 2, no leaks.

Supreme Court appointments energize the base, but what influence do they have on independent voters?

I think the RNC is betting more on their disenfranchisement.

bernouts were never going to vote trump, no matter how much we tried to appeal to them, a much better plan is make sure they remember how mean old crooked hillary beat up their socialist mesiah, and with any luck they will just say fuck it on election day and stay home

Why would I?

What's the matter, too afraid to get into an argument? Are you going to avoid answering questions by shitposting?

So it turns out Don Jr's speech flipped an entire focus group of undecided dems/reps to vote Trump. Their main rationale: If Trump could raise such a good kid, he can't be all that bad as a person.

Will Trump's kids have a much bigger involvement in the campaign forward?

This is a thread to ask Questions not get into an argument.

Like it or not we aren't really interest in hearing a person in their teens parrot what we just heard on CNN

The Democrats failed spectacularly at cracking the media coverage this past week. It's been all Trump all the time.

>No Press is Bad Press

If I told you two weeks ago that the convention would go four days without any negative "protest" stories taking place, would you have believed me?

Trump would love to prevent the DNC from having a monopoly of the 24 hour news cycle next week.

>Yes, Everything.

El Rato BTFO

Thats fair.

Also, this is only laterally related to the messaging at the RNC, but...

...anything you guys managed to pre-empt on the democratic side or at the DNC with what's been said at the RNC?

Do Trump and Alex Jones have some kind of agreement? How did he get Jones to support him so strongly?

Was the whole allowing Cruz on stage thing a play to increase Trump's cred as an outsider/anti-establishment guy?

Where the fuck were those protesters? I was promised BLOOD

Need RNC organizational support and family didn't trust/want Chris Christie.

RNC would never support Webb and Flynn, frankly, isn't a talented enough politician to survive until election day.

Yes and I asked questions.

You're responding my shitposting.

>a person in their teens

Source?

I am going to enjoy the Virginia speeches Manafort is planing for cucking the DNC.

Considered, never vetted.

Lots and lots and lots of people were considered though.

>(or even a primary challenger in 2020) should Trump win the election.
w..wha...what?

You asked a headline question with a loaded phrase

"Something of substance"

Here your answer:

We disagree Trump hasn't said something of substance. Now what, where does this conversation go?

They do this for a living user, they know he's not going to win.

MSM wanted a "Ted Cruz" story and they had one served up on a silver platter.

Trump is a genius and Manafort pulled off every one of his ideas perfectly. Trump wasn't even mad when Manafort took a victory lap after (Halperin)

What are the chances of Kasich being Hillary's running mate?

Those two are big hits with the swing voters in the swing states.

Aside from the connections, I really feel that Mike was the perfect choice. He has a comparatively low-profile presence compared to Trump, but he is much more eloquent and confident than Flynn. And he's humble and not overly ambitious enough to be a rogue liability like Gingrich or Christie.

Trump and Pence really go together like silver and gold.

the 'plagiarism' of Melania's speech was deliberate in order to draw attention to Trump, right?

0%, her running mate is all but announced at this point

kek, the absolute Madmen

Melania thing was planned?

C'mon

Does anyone think that Trump lost a single voter because of the "plagiarism" charge?

>family didn't trust/want Chris Christie.

No daddy!
No mean Mr Christie
He put Jared's dad in jail and he dindu nuffins
Chris Christie threatened the Kushner family fortunes

Haha I figured as much. I was kinda thinking out loud on that one after wondering where he's been lately and seeing the Jim Webb question.

Yes, my coworker who has a grudge against cheaters (stemming from something in college)
She's showing her Johnson now

>2 lines from a 17 minute speech.
>turns out the original speech was plaigarised

nothing of value was lost

You can "apply" online, although best option is to contact your local office (if you're in a swing state) and just show up.

...

No. I think the only thing that was lost was the ability to use cuts of the speech in future campaign material.

Not a chance in hell.

I'm in Colorado...It should be a swing state, is it or would my time be better spent phone banking PA

>When will Trump say something of substance?

When voters start caring about policies instead of results.

was this on purpose?

trump went from a joke candidate to the nominee because of his debate performance

Hillary should be very very scared of trump's ability to debate

Does Trump have a better chance of taking VA or pa?

What's his path to victory?

They have Stein or even Johnson to defect to. Johnson will probably jack a sliver of Trump's voter base, but he's more to the left. Stein is all left and aligns with bernbros.

If Trump gets caught up in a scandal that the MSM (who already hates him) crucifies him for, the RNC now has an opportunity to offer up an experienced conservative young vice president as an alternative.

Are you guys at all worried about increased hispanic turnout?

goes without saying senpai

You listed increasing enthusiasm and width of the voter base as top two important, which I agree with (and your answers generally have confirmed good thinking internally.)

I see those as really the same thing, and I expect to get my cues from further rallies and other media things. But you have an opportunity to help guide the directions of interest for dual expansion and enthusiasm if you'd like to comment further.

trump has come down very soft on the weed issue, so i wouldnt be surprised if he has a shot in colorado.
denver may be full of liberal cucks but you guys have always been outsiders from the dem party, really only allying on very select issues

messaging?

>If Trump gets caught up in a scandal that the MSM (who already hates him) crucifies him for, the RNC now has an opportunity to offer up an experienced conservative young vice president as an alternative.

WTF IS THIS SHIT?
WHAT ARE YOU REVEALING?
ARE YOU AN ESTABLISHMENT MOLE INSIDE TRUMP TOWER?

I HOPE YOU GET SNIFFED OUT

FUCKING RAT

Wew, like that would ever happen.

Trump is too nimble for that, and Pence trying to betray him during the primary would just lead to a repeat of this primary.

Denver's, Denver the real libcuck area is Bolder, it would be interesting to test the waters in Aurora

Im not an insider, but any rational human who finally wakes up comes to the same conclusion regarding those (((non-Gentile folks))).

I don't even mean to sound like a Nazi, but it's just the reality. Blacks aren't the problem, Muslims aren't the problem, Hispanics aren't the problem. Whites are the master race, but that doesn't mean whites are unable to coexist with other races, or that whites are inherently racist. "Race" only becomes an issue when the (((Merch-Stream Media))) blasts it in your face perpetually and tells you that you are either the oppressor or the oppressed, and that you need to behave differently.

The Roman salute from Laura Ingram, Melania Trump deliberately copying Michael Obama's speech, Sleepy Ben drawing the Alinsky conclusion, the HISTORY MADE ad with the Star of David....Trump is woke, big time. he just can't reveal his true power level just yet, otherwise the minds of the masses will implode.

and that's why Alex Jones likes Trump so much. you should like him equally much, for identical reasons.

>Trump is too nimble for that
He still has an pending child rape case against him

either way is fine, if a would-be democrat votes independent it is as good as a vote for trump

same thing for republicans, good news for us is that johnson is no ron paul. he will take the typical lolbertarian cucks and nothing more

Some policy questions

How committed is the trump campaign at this moment to

>drastically increasing tariffs(Trump said he would bring jobs back and punish companies who didn't work in america tonight
>giving up on all social issues(Thiel hinted at this in his speech)
>subsidizing childcare(Ivanka)
>increasing women;s pay(Ivanka)

I literally just wanted tougher immigration laws

>none of them could even co-opt his stance

> Yes, voter turnout/networking

> Cruz was pissed off and Trump took advantage

> Coal is a symbol of government regulation hurting the "forgotten" working class.

> Yes

> If you want to build a wall, you need to say "so we can stop crime/drugs". It's hard to also say "but we're going to legalize weed".
