Just when you thought you couldn't hate white women any more than you already do, there always seems to be something else to come along and remind you.

Panders to normies need to feel special and sophisticated but is ultimately as shallow as the audience it panders to

>suicide is the new black: the movie

I thought it had potential, but I struggled to keep suspension of disbelief. The main issue was the fact that none of the kids just turned the tapes into the authorities, parents, or whoever - and none of them just threw them out and told Tony to go suck a dick.

There was also the fact that, besides Bryce, most people didn't do anything that bad to her. Or, I guess, not really worse than any other high school kids life. That I was a bit okay with because it showed that Hannah was mentally unstable, but I didn't think they showed just how unstable she was very well. It made her too likable, and made her seem to normal (until she kills herself).

see guys, normies have it tough too. Everyone has their own problems, you just need to be urself bro

>"they told me I had the best ass in the school"
WWWWAAAAAAA

>roastie slag got BTFO and topped herself.

Don't see what the fuss is about, who cares about one random dead harlot?

all he had to do was say he loved her and she would have lived

I'm not wasting any time on watching some faggot suicide show from Netflix

-Writing is bad
-Acting is bad
-Story is unbelievable

Into the TRASH it goes.

How can Clay live with himself? He fucked up in ways that can't be described

>I don't know who wrote this but not sure it's someone I'd like to hang out with

>tfw want to hug hannah everytime she cries in the show

>How can Clay live with himself?

His parents called him Clay. From there everything else was always going to be a breeze.

Autism kills, user. Autism kills.

>roastie

What is with all you r9k crossboarders lately? Nobody wants you here. Fuck off back to your containment board, you sub-human.

but as Sup Forums proves every day it also speaks
it's time to listen

>Attractive, young woman in a modern western nation
>playing Life on the easiest difficulty possible
>kills herself after a few minor things don't go her way

>expect me to feel sorry for her
fuck off

She kys'd herself because Helmet literally beta orbited her to death.

...

That poster just screams Twin Peaks to me, and standard, generic hbo/netshit garbage.

nty

Don't be retarded, women absorb and gain life essence from beta orbiters, not the other way around

>it's another "teenage girl kills herself even though 80% of suicides are male yet all suicide kino is of a girl" show

user, your warped world view makes you pathetic and makes it so you can't watch kino without thinking "REEEE! CHAD! REEEE ROASTIES!". Therefore you don't belong here, you fucking freak. You gotta go back.

...

>most female suicide attempts fail
>most male suicide attempts succeed

Is there literally ANYTHING men aren't better than women at?

I mean, Bruce Jenner won woman of the year, we're even better at being women than women are now

Listen to what?

>tfw had a major opiate problem but shook it thanks to Sup Forums
>been homeless now for about a year but Sup Forums keeps me sane

Thanks Sup Forums

TO THE GODDAMN TAPES CLAY

Also women do it for attention and don't really want to die (hence more "attempts" but much, much less successes) but men who are suicidal do just want to die and don't care about getting attention.

This shows inaccurate in that the protagonist actually went through in killing herself. But they couldn't go with a male suicide victim (despite being 80% of them), that'd be... too accurate?

youtube.com/watch?v=CxUskbSn8jo

Ive only watched two episodes when does this obnoxious cunt kill herself already?

Yeah, but Clay's mistake was that when she was "all alone" he STILL continued his orbiting. She had already absorbed all of his life essence.

Do yourself a favor and skip to the last 20 minutes of the 12th episode and just watch from there.

dumb show with dumb cast with unwarranted self importance. great ironic watch

When she cuts her hair, that's when you really know shit is going to end badly

look at this dude.

>it's a Clay gets into trouble and his parents threaten to punish him but never do episode

why did they kill best bro?

>It's a Justin makes edgelord tier ambiguous threats towards Clay but never actually does anything episode

Most women attempt suicide for attention. men successfully commit suicide because they're actually depressed

What good is attention if you're dead???

I want to ___ her lips!

Keyword "attempt". Take a few pills and say your suicidal. Don't actually kill yourself.

This guy.

*blocks your path*

How long does it take to bleed out when someone slits their wrists like she did?

Dunno, not long probably. Why don't you try and report back to us?

Hey, if it gets dumb roasties to kill themselves, I'm fine with it.

I'm not suicidal, too much kino to watch :o)

>that song after Clay gives Mr. Porter the tapes

Can we all just admit that this fucking show is no better than Cyberbully?

>I'm not suicidal
pleb as fuck

I marathoned the first ten minutes of cyberbully but it was too heavy for me

Thanks user was good advice

it's a little ridiculous Alex shooting himself at the end too, a little over the top

it's not very good

Mostly this. It was more about showing how everyone else contributed than it was about her. I wouldn't say that, outside the rape, she encountered anything worse than what a teenager might normally encounter. Her parents fight. She gains and loses friends. She's bullied. Everybody goes through that shit.

If they wanted to do a piece about suicide they should have made it more about her own issues and how her view of herself and her future was warped enough she felt those events were so terrible she had to kill herself over them. The show made a point in the earlier episodes of saying how they couldn't trust what she said on the tapes and it all accumulated to the rape thing but it could have worked towards showing how she saw the events as opposed to how the people involved saw them.

I've also got no clue on just how close she was with Clay. At some points it seemed they were good friends and then other times it seemed like they weren't. He took the tapes so to heart I wouldve thought they had a close relationship.

Hannah was such a cutie. :/

Literally perfect 2bh. Just the right amout of chub too.

13 reasons why jessica is so fertile

If I actually think about it, it's melodramatic and average, but it's one of the few things I watched in years where I was disappointed that it ended so soon.

Faults because those come to mind more easily: writing is hammy as fuck and a very poor approximation of how teens talk, very derivative of The Perks of Being a Wall Flower, and plenty of bad quips where the writer had an undue sense of how clever he was. Frequently, the dialogue is very cringe-worthy. Tony was an obnoxious character and his homosexuality has no payoff or good reason for existing, unlike the other fags in the show, which at a grand total of six, indicates they were meeting some quota. Tony is just obnoxious and unfleshed out overall. While the Baker pharmacy wasn't doing well, the parents come across as totally unsympathetic in trying to bilk hundreds of thousands of dollars from the school system when it only appeared at the very end that they might have been culpable, at even then, not even $200K worth. All the kids telling Clay not to believe Hannah for episode after episode is just a contrived way to build up Clay's tape, even though he literally did nothing wrong in the end. More time should have been spent in Hannah explaining why she saw suicide as the only option, as she just abruptly does it after giving her reasons, though perhaps this was cut out as to not encourage other kids to do it.

I'll never watch it again, so it doesn't have staying power, I mostly really enjoyed watching it, despite the faults I mentioned.

Even at that age? I have little doubt in my mind the vast majority of teen suicides are female.

i won't bring myself to watch it, but for those of you who have, is it just a normies take on highschool depression and suicide?

So does kissing Justin and making out with Clay make her a harlot ipso facto?

>it's a men brag about killing themselves episode

You wanna know why nobody pays attention to you guys?

Women tend to choose less violent forms of suicide like overdosing, and thus are more likely to survive after reflection. Can't really survive a bullet to the head or hanging yourself.

She's so fucking cute I want to kill myself too.

This. What terrible parenting. He one day get drunk and comes late with a hangover, skips school and goes missing, gets caught with weed, and such as hell didn't open up to them even when he said he would.

How was leaking pictures of her panties, lying about fingering her, claiming that she is a lesbian and constantly insulting her, "not bad"? She was from the beginning a very emotional and easily to hurt, since she experienced similar things at her old school.

Sup Forums is just autistic for disliking it. Its popular, so they think they are cool if they dislike it.

Correct.

>show Clay fapping to lesbian kiss between Elizabeth and Hannah
>afterwards, he deletes the picture, and the rest of his porn
Why was this necessary and what were they trying to convey with this?

>How was leaking pictures of her panties, lying about fingering her, claiming that she is a lesbian and constantly insulting her, "not bad"?
I literally had all of this happen to me in high school.

Bullshit if not, tits or gtfo

The irony is that this show will be seen as "progressive" for its portrayal of suicide as a serious issue, despite also portraying women as emotionally fragile and weak.

You think it's bullshit that someone would have photos spread of them in highschool, someone might lie about fingering them, claim their a lesbian and they might get insulted? You think that's a stretch? It's literally regular high school now.

The writers tried so hard to make like Hannah and feel sorry for her - but she was kind of a selfish bitch.

She didn't deserve to be raped or anything, but she never takes responsibility for her mistakes and ONLY ever places that blame on her friends.

He's too sad to fap.

And despite Clay acting retarded, she should have taken the initiative and ask Clay out when she saw that clearly he doesn't have the guts to do it.

>how they couldn't trust what she said on the tapes
wasnt good guy zach the only part she lied or did I miss something?

Also, show appeals to ego's of women, who most will now claim (especially if their lives weren't hard I.E. no deaths in family, disease, etc.) that they were suicidal at some point, when in fact they were just depressed. Nothing beats getting drunk with chicks, and having them cry to their friends about how they were suicidal and identified with this show (has happened three fucking times already... summer is coming up so I'm bracing myself for more). All the while, these chicks were doing it in front of a friend of mine who tried committing suicide on heroin (mom died of cancer, living in poverty, everything going to shit). He just silently sat there trying not to break down and cried later when party was over, though he's getting better about it.

Find it funny that they didn't focus on the actual main victims of suicide (men), because they are the most affected by it. Guess the guy kills himself at end, but that's because he was a shit dude.

Maybe the message ends up being that guys that kill themselves are shit dudes (yeah that's right you white cis males! kys! kys!). Honestly, garbage show with egoistic projection shit going on for women and betas that want to save them. Betas need to save themselves, because they are more likely to kill themselves anyway.

did she gain weight towards the end of the show? I thought it was just the haircut but there's no way it was just that. She was a 9/10 in the beggining and at the scene in the tub she looked like a 40yo mom. She even walked fat

Show could have been a lot better if they'd embraced the surreal, psychological tone that emerges in parts. Instead they strung it out with a shit tonne of filler and somehow expect a second season to add something.

Hannah > Sherri > Clay's Mom > Tony's brown ass >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> weirdo waitress >>>>>>>>>> Jessica

Does everyone agree?

the blonde kid was a shit dude?

Yeah, this. Everyone seems to forget how big a deal this sort of gossip is for teenagers. A picture of the wrong teenager's underwear can have them marked for their whole school life.

I remember one kid's fly was down, once. He got called "zippy" for the next six years.

>that part when hothead baby clay almost fights him
jesus christ the cringe

alex, zach ans ryan did literally nothing wrong

what? tony was the least obnoxious out of all the characters

Well have you agree that you're wrong, or disagree that you're right. Your call.

sherri>tony>hanna's first friend>alex

the majority of the episodes are boring awful filler content

the only good episodes are 1 and 12

I liked it, even though it's a bad show.

The suicide girl has all these clever lines, I'm surprised that as clever as she was she couldn't turn to anyone for help. The butch retro fag is too mature and composed. The crybaby nerd is too much of a crybaby. The rest of the teenagers seem to be bent on concealing the existence of the tapes when they KNOW butch retro fag is going to go to the authorities eventually, so it's all stupid mind games that are ultimately destined to be worthless. Except it gave the nerd time to record the rapist giving a confession, but did we really need all that buildup for what would eventually amount to an out-of-court settlement between the rapist's rich parents and the suicide girl's financially-troubled parents? And all of this is wrapped in the romantic idea that having a caring boyfriend or a caring friend will save you from suicide. Maybe. Maybe not.

Certainly not a great series, but it's a kind of The Night Of for kids.

To begin with, an attractive woman would never commit suicide, this is why I'm not gonna watch it
If they casted an uggo instead of her as the main character I would, but this is incoherent as fuck

>it's a "gay actor tries to portray a heterosexual character but does so inaccurately and terrible that he still comes off as gay" episode

Alex a shit

I really don't get why Alex shot himself

never seen it, and don't intend to. I don't understand why people on this board have an irrational need to watch things they know they won't like.

Because he clearly had the most regret over Hannah's death, which is why he attempted suicide in an early episode by jumping in a pool.

to show people that even if you are the most bro bro out there you can still get rekted by some 100 year old faggot in a car driving.
>tfw all he wanted was clay and hannah to hangout
>tfw you die before you can help out caly the most and save hannah from being a hero
>tfw if only clay told him he loved her jeff would have done all the leg work to make it happen
