>WC equal to CL
Opinion discarded

How should it be ranked?

WC = 20 points

lmao. Joachim Low has a fucking world cup; there's no way you can consider winning it such an achievement.

He won the first WC since 1990 for his country
He raped Ronaldo's Portugal
He eliminated France
He humiliated Brazil 7-1
He stopped Messi in the final, and subbed in the goalscorer

That's because Germany was by far the best team. When someone says they don't play fullbacks because they don't have anyone that can, despite have Philip fucking Lahm, I can't take them seriously.

>That's because Germany was by far the best team.
so was in 2006 and 2010

Your opinion doesnt matter. Mathematically you are awarding 5 points for a tournament thats played every year and the same ammount for a bigger tournament played every 4 years.

They definitely weren't in 2010; not even close to Spain
>2006

The period inbetween each tournament doesn't determine how hard it is for a manager to win; it only limits your chances. Even if you were to award it more giving it 20 would be completely retarded. Considering Joachim Low won is last time and Didier Deschamps will probably win it this year I don't see how you can consider a good Barometer

FA Cup should be worth less.

Spain parked the bus the whole game, and only won thanks to a header by Puyol, so much for tiki taka

Italy also got lucky

World Cup should be 8 points
Relevant leagues considered only
Cups and minor titles gtfo

Zidane won the CL back to back

Di Mateo (was that his name?) won it with Chelsea

Look at the Spanish team; every player aside from maybe Capdevila was world class; you can't say the same for Germany

Lets be honest here. Goat managers dont go to national teams so the world cup is irrelevant

how are the fucking mongs here pretending international management is in any way harder than club management? it completely negates transfers which is a big measure of a manager’s ability and it’s over an extremely short space of time and low number of games compared to club football so the tactics don’t have to be as robust and cannot be anywhere near as complex due to there simply being a fraction of the time to place them on the squad. In terms of management the biggest test is winning a big league because it’s over the most games, against the biggest variation of opponents and relies on versatility/tactics/depth way way way more than anything else

You didn't even count arrguably Fergie best achievement. He won a European cup with Aber-fucking-deen.

A points system is stupid anyway you need to look at the whole picture

>Alex Redditson
fuck off

A World Cup should be like half of a Champions League. There's a reason why all top managers manage clubs and not NTs.

Paisley>Fergie mate there is no argument otherwise

>*inhales shit-addled fingers*

because its easier to buy the players you want to fit your system rather than seeing what your players can do best and creating the best system for them

This. Shankly > both though.

seething

>says european titles are worth 4pts
>doesnt count mou's 2 eels
why are southern hemispherers always the worst posters?

Clough the only English manager worth a damn

There are people on Sup Forums, right now, that weren't even alive when Bayern got FERGIE'd.

>negates transfers which is a big measure of a manager’s ability
Or from another perspective
>negates transfers which is a handy tool to hide the lack of a manager’s ability

shankly wasn't english lad

Let's be honest here, Fergie's biggest achievement was winning the Cup Winner's Cup with Aberdeen
