Is there a tonal language that sounds pleasant?
Realistically how hard is Chinese even? People bitch about the number of 漢字, but they all seem to have a single reading per character. And there seems to be next to no grammar. And word order seems to be similar to English. So, what's the real problem? The tones?
When I watch movies like RedCliff Chinese sounds decent.
It's probably vulgar everyday Chinese that's disgusting
No
Tones and phonology
Exactly opposite of Japanese

lol
Yes, depends who's talking. But overall, no. And Chinese is perhaps the worst sounding language of all tonal languages too.

Mandarin Chinese is horrid but tons of other languages are miles worse.
Cantonese, Min, Vietnamese, Hakka, Thai, Lao, etc all sound ten times more shitty.

Cantonese is better than Mandrin
Is it? All southern Chinese dialects sound like total ass to me.
