This guy's recuts are incredible.
it's called kinoskin
that movie was atrocius
Why they didnt keep this for Spiderman I will never know
Anything by Based Morricone
Because they always have to do something new to "reinvent the franchise" even though they're pretty much just redoing it over and over. Aside from that the last few spiderman movies aren't worthy of soundtracks this good.
This.
>Beginning of Clockwork Orange
>Main theme from The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover
Both put me in strange moods just seconds after they started
Wow, never even knew he made the soundtrack for this. Truly based. Besides the obvious The Ecstacy of Gold and the ending to TGTBTU I think this is my favorite from him
youtube.com
Leone + Morricone is just pure kinosex
100% of the world's population just agreed with you.
Unfortunately he never got an oscar until Hateful 8
Sad but true. This is actually pretty good.
Is this an arm hair thread?

Fairly recent, but whenever this shit would start playing you fucking know shit was about to go DOWN.

Conan is the answer to every kino question.
yes
>extending your contrarianism to the OST as well
But the OST is literally the only great thing about that movie.
thats what I meant my man
Batman (1989) Finale:
The whole scene where it shows Dr Manhanton's creation in the Watchmen gives me duck bumples. Can someone post it since I'm on my phone?
Based Das Boot

Based Oldboy, the entire soundtrack is terrific but Ill just post this

Giacchino did the best possible job scoring these movies. I really like his theme. It's an actual theme, something you can whistle or hum. Jerry Goldsmith would be proud to have this as his successor.
I have no idea how this hasn't been posted, but here it is. The movie and this song were a huge part of my childhood, and years later both still give me chills.
Giacchino was probably the best thing about LOST.
Inception durr
Fight me nigger

Dare anyone not to get teary eyed at dead Poets OST

John Williams made so much iconic stuff for Star Wars. But this one, and asteroid chase are criminally underrated.
>Lukes saber is red
Did Lucas do this and I missed it?
This is far more patrician

Its fan-edited
Someone post the utopia (Uk tv series) theme, its goat
Seriously? No one?
The version of the Battlestar Galactica theme that was in the credits of The Plan is one of my favourite tracks ever

I think Cristobal Tapia de Veer is going to be a big name in the next few years, he did Dirk Gently too and that was great
yeah and it's not like they replaced it with something better. I didn't hate TASM when I saw it (I don't really remember enough of it to have an opinion since I only saw it once) but I remember when I realized the music was meant to be the new Spider-Man theme I just shook my head in disappointment.
The only examples of a sequel having it's own theme instead of the original films iconic one where it was at least almost as good of a theme are The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Also does anyone know why Marvel movies are so inconsistent with the themes from film to film? The only themes I can think of that were reused for a sequel are the First Avenger theme used in Winter Soldier and the Winter Soldier theme used in Civil War. The guitar riff theme for Iron Man was fantastic but I don't think it was used outside of the first film. And The Avengers theme was memorable too but for some reason in Age of Ultron they used a brand new theme which wasn't nearly as good. I liked the Guardians of the Galaxy theme but I haven't seen the second one yet so I don't know if they kept it. It's just bizarre to me that they'd have all of these theme songs for their characters at their disposal but for some reason Marvel refuses to use them and thus each film has a forgettable as fuck soundtrack
>that
>Criminally underrated
It made the 3rd movie top tier. People fucking moan about the Ewoks but it always baffles me - there's so much good stuff in ROTJ that the ewoks are smalltime.
not him but Batman & Robin is one of the worst movies ever made but despite that the main theme is fantastic. Although now that I think about it the theme might have been written for Batman Forever so I don't know if it counts. That film is pretty shitty too though so

To think this film lost best soundtrack to Theory of Everything is nothing short of astounding.

Yeah the only time I've been disappointed with a Giachinno score was Jurassic World. I was disappointed with Rogue One at first but then I found out he wrote the entire score in 4 fucking weeks, which is incredible considering how it'd probably be considered to be great if he wasn't in John Williams' shadow. It's not a bad soundtrack by any means, but compared to the rest of the Star Wars films it's definitely not the best.
4 weeks is insane though. I really want to hear what he'd be able to do with at least a year to write it like the composer would normally. IMO the only composers I would be okay with replacing John Williams are Giachinno and Howard Shore. I don't think either of them could be as good as Williams, but they'd come the closest out of anyone.
that entire soundtrack is one of my favorite albums of all time, and not just favorite soundtrack albums, proper albums. It's so fucking good, it's crazy how even the short throwaway tracks are memorable.
>mfw listening to Song For Bob
yeah I thought Hans Zimmer lost his way in recent years after peaking with The Dark Knight but Interstellar changed my mind. I wish he wrote more scores that were as restrained as Interstellar's.
Someone needs to take his fucking drums away. I don't know why he thought having 5 drummers at once would create a worthy successor to John Williams' Superman theme. The opening piano piece in BvS was really good, but when I first listened to Wonder Woman's theme I genuinely thought it was a joke. Not only are the electric violins or whatever they are super grating to the ears, but it just sounds nothing like what the theme song for Wonder Woman should sound like. Did Junkie XL write it? I know they shared scoring duties but idk what the split was. It wouldn't sound out of place on the Fury Road soundtrack, but Wonder Woman?
The forbidden kingdoms credits song is fucking goose bump kino
> Did Junkie XL write it? I know they shared scoring duties but idk what the split was.
Junkie did Batman, Zimmer Superman. Not sure who did WW.
ITS NOT A WAR MOVIE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Holyshit i forgot how stupidly good this was.
Also:

there are a lot of songs posted here, but many of you aren't listening to them.
Tell someone to listen to one song.
You, listen to this:
>Starship Troopers - Klendathu Drop
Oh god this, fucking orgasmic
Bear McCreary is excellent
>turkey hills
>not ham nubs
...
He really is, I love how well he balances the emotional and military themes of the show, both being distinctive but merging together.
That's another song that always gives me goosebumps. I also really liked the simple tune that played during Balthar's dream sequences, but I've not managed to find that on any of the soundtracks yet.
And of course we can't forget this:
I am not merciful and the For Honor/Remember Him combo for my favorites from Gladiator
>that starship troopers
loved the song ever since i heard it years ago, it fits the movie so perfectly
